The doorbell rang and Charlotte ran to the door from her kitchen as she finished preparing the popcorn. She straightened her hair neatly before opening the door. Engfa was leaning against the door frame with that charming smile of hers. Charlotte instantly smiled and hugged her lover.
Engfa hugged her back tightly.
"I have wine." Engfa pulled out the bottle from her back. Charlotte smiled and kissed Engfa's cheeks before leading her into the condo. Engfa closed the door with her leg, before taking off her shoes. She bent down to put her shoes neatly, knowing her lover was a neat person and would appreciate her putting her shoes properly. When Engfa stood up properly, she was attacked by her lover's kiss on the lips. It was a long one and Engfa could tell Charlotte needed it. Charlotte pulled away and gave her small pecks before resting her forehead against Engfa's.
"I've missed you and I need you so much"
"I'm here, teerak," Engfa reassured.
Charlotte smiled and wrapped her arms around Engfa's shoulder tightly. She slowly climbed up and jumped onto Engfa. Engfa happily carried her up and lead her to the living room couch. She saw that Charlotte had prepared a Disney movie on the TV.
"Sit down, relax. I'll go grab the popcorn and glasses for the wine." Engfa ordered.
Charlotte looked up at Engfa and nodded cutely. Engfa kissed Charlotte's forehead before going into the kitchen. Charlotte snuggled into the blanket as she waits for Engfa patiently.
After grabbing the things, she needed, she head out into the living room, she smiled widely after seeing Charlotte all cuddled up in the blanket.
"Is there still space for me?" Engfa asked.
"Of course!" Charlotte replied as she lifted up the blanket for Engfa.
Engfa sat down and put the bowl of popcorn on her lap and opened the bottle of wine and poured it into their glasses. She passed a glass to Charlotte before opening up her left arm for Charlotte to cuddle in closer. Charlotte rested her head in between Engfa's neck and shoulder and let out a breath of relief.
She felt safe in Engfa's arms. Engfa was her safe space. With Engfa, everything else in the world doesn't matter anymore. It was just her and Engfa.
Engfa kissed Charlotte's forehead and took a sip of her wine before putting it down on the side table.
"Shall we start the movie then?" Engfa asked.
Charlotte nodded.
Engfa grabbed the remote on Charlotte's lap and pressed start.
It was halfway through the movie when Charlotte asked," Are you not going to ask me what's wrong?"
"You'll tell me when you're ready to tell me. For now, all I can do is be there for you when you need me." Engfa explained.
Charlotte sat up and stared at Engfa. Engfa was worried that she might have said something wrong. Charlotte put her glass of wine and bowl of popcorn on the coffee table and got on Engfa's lap. She hugged Engfa and started sobbing. Engfa rubbed Charlotte's back and let her cry.
"I love you, P'Fa..."
"I love you too."
Charlotte sat back up.
"No, you don't understand. I love you."
"Okay, I love you too."
"Nobody has made me feel things as you do. Nobody has gone the extra mile for me as you do. Nobody has ever made me feel so loved as you do. I don't ever want to lose you."
"You will never lose me. I'm here, always. For you. Forever."
Engfa held Charlotte's face in her hands. Charlotte wrapped her arms around Engfa's neck and leaned against her forehead.
"Now, we're missing the best part of the movie."
"I don't care. I've got my best part right here." Charlotte responded.
They locked eyes and just like that, the rest of the world do not matter for they have each other.

A/N: A short one for today! I thought it'd be nice to see them settle down and be cute as they usually are.
Also, Episode 7.... phewwwww, the pool scene. And according to Charlotte, that's not even the hottest one yet? Damn. Honestly, when I heard there was going to be an Englot series, I wasn't expecting much except maybe hugs and pecks on the cheeks or almost kisses then transitions into a wall or something I don't know. But yeah, they proved me wrong. The series, in my opinion, has it goods and the bad , I guess but I can see an improvement.
And, can we talk about Charlotte Austin, that acting, miss ma'am. Kudos to her. She's actually really really good. Hope to see her acting more often in the future when her schedules frees up some space.
