Charlotte asked Engfa for a favour to pick Phalo up from the pet daycare as she had an urgent business with her Green Tea at the factory. Engfa assured her.

"How hard can it be? I just go up to them, say Phalo's name and we're good."

Charlotte narrowed her eyes at Engfa, before looking at the time.

"Okay, I have to go. Take care of my baby na."

"I'll take good care of myself, don't worry."

"I meant Phalo."

Engfa's mouth gape open.

"Yeah, her too." Engfa rolled her eyes.

Charlotte opened her arms to hug Engfa. Engfa gladly hugged her back and sneaked a kiss on her cheek. Charlotte pulled back and briefly pecked Engfa's lips.

Charlotte bid goodbye and Engfa closed the door after her. Engfa huffed and checked the time. She still had some time to spare before fetching Phalo. She went to prepare Phalo's carrier and treats to put in her car so Phalo would not be too bored during the drive home.

She prepared her car with the carrier and blankets to make the very spoiled rabbit comfortable. She drove off after putting in the destination into the GPS system. She tapped her fingers on the steering wheel as she sang along to the music playing in her car. She smiled when she saw the name of the pet daycare and carefully parked her car not far from the entrance.

She entered the centre and the bell rang, telling the pet sitters that they had a client. Engfa was greeted with an unattended reception and she heard some commotion at the back. She saw the bell and decided to press it to catch their attention.

Soon, the door connecting to the back of the centre, slammed open. Engfa jumped as she saw a lady in the uniform, face red and huffing. The lady instantly put on a wide smile and greeted Engfa.

"Err, I'm here to pick up my rabbit." Engfa informed.

"Of course!" The lady approached Engfa at the counter and looked at some cards on the table in front of her.

Engfa looked down and saw names of the pets, that were currently in the centre. She looked back up at the employee and realised that she was shaking.

"Is everything okay?"

The employee sighed before looking up at Engfa, nervous. She smiled sheepishly.

"The thing is... our intern. He... accidentally messed up the name cards, he thought he was doing something by cleaning the cages at once. I told him there's no shortcuts in life. He wouldn't listen. Why can't men ever just listen? What? Was he threatened by a female superior? I don't understand what went through his head thinking this would impress the boss."

Engfa stared at the employee, who kept going on and on about her thoughts.

"I mean, of course men. They're not thinking. They never do. I swear this is why women live longer than they do."

The employee huffed as she finished venting.

Engfa kept staring at her with wide eyes. Her eyes gazed down as she looked at the name tag.

"Okay. Are you err done... Khun Mimi?"

Mimi looked back up at Engfa and gasped.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I must've talked your ear off. It was just that -"

Before Mimi could start her fast ranting again, Engfa cut her off.

"Erm my rabbit? Can I have her now? Do we have her?"
