Take A Hint

Engfa and Charlotte sat side by side in the glittering MGI Hall, surrounded by a sea of elegantly dressed people. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as the beauty pageant event unfolded before them. The contestants dazzled on stage, each vying for the coveted title.

Engfa shifted in her seat and stood up, causing Charlotte to look up at her.

"Bathroom," Engfa informed as she stared deeply into Charlotte.

Charlotte nodded as she stared back. Engfa walked away, giggling to herself. She reached the bathroom and checked the cubicles for anyone. She rested her hips on the counter as she waited for her girlfriend. A few minutes passed, and there was no sign of Charlotte. Engfa huffed and pursed her lips. She turned around and looked at her reflection.

"She didn't get the hint, did she?" Engfa asked herself.

She straightened her dress and hair before she went out.

As she reached her seat, she huffed and crossed her arms.

"You took a while..." Charlotte stated.

Engfa sharply turned to Charlotte.

"I wonder why."

"Engfa... You know, when you were gone, she danced with the singer." Someone informed her.

Charlotte smiled sheepishly, "Nooo, he invited me up. I couldn't say no."

"Make him pay the dowry first," Engfa said, jokingly.

As the event ended, the two beauty queens made their way to the dressing room to change back into their regular clothes. They huffed after getting the heavy dresses off their body and cozied up on the sofa in their normal clothes. Engfa noticed that the staff had left them alone to put away their dresses.

"Nuu..." Engfa called softly.

"Hmmm..." Charlotte answered, with her eyes closed and head back on the sofa.

"Just now... when I went to the bathroom,"

"Bee... I just danced with him because he kinda asked the crowd and there was this pressure that felt like I had to. I didn't want to, I swear."

"I'm not talking about that."

Charlotte raised her head and turned to Engfa. She studied Engfa's expressions to see if she was angry, but there was no hint of anger.

"Oh. Then what about?"

"When I told you I was going to the bathroom..." Engfa looked at her fingers shyly.

Charlotte turned her body toward Engfa and rested her hand on Engfa's thigh as she waited for Engfa to finish talking.

"I was hinting that you meet me there," Engfa revealed.

Charlotte frowned, thinking back at that moment. She gasped when she finally found the hint Engfa gave.

"Ah! That's why you looked at me like that."

Engfa squinted her eyes at Charlotte.

"Bee, I'm sorry... I missed it."

"Yeah, well. You missed an opportunity for a quick one." Engfa revealed her intentions.

"What quick one?"

"Oh my God. I can't with my girlfriend, right now." Engfa stood up and made her way out as she grab her bag.

Charlotte was still lost. "What? Bee, wait for me!"

Charlotte chased after Engfa and put her arms around her shoulders.
