"Proposing under the northern lights is like asking the universe to witness your love story, painting the sky with the colors of your heart." -Unknown

1 year later...

Luca and Nora's love story was not the typical fairytale romance that one often sees in movies or reads about in books. It was real, raw, and at times turbulent. But the fact that their love was not a smooth-sailing journey was what made it so special and unique. They did not just breeze through their relationship; instead, they weathered the storms together.

When challenges arose, they did not shy away from them, but rather faced them head-on. They were both honest and open with each other, always willing to listen and understand the other's point of view. Their relationship was built on a foundation of trust and communication, which made it stronger and more resilient.

There were moments when they argued and days when they felt distant from each other, but they never gave up. They were both determined to make their love work, to push through the tough times and come out even stronger on the other side. They knew that their love was worth fighting for.

Luca was everything Nora had ever wanted in a partner. He was kind, loving, and thoughtful, always putting her needs before his own. He made her feel cherished, loved and special every single day. Nora knew she was lucky to have found him, and she never took him for granted.

Their love story was not just about the happy times, but also the tough times. It was about the way they navigated through the ups and downs together, holding hands and never letting go. They were a true testament to the fact that true love was worth fighting for.

Fate had brought them together for a reason, and they had found each other at the perfect time. They deserved each other's love and support, and they knew that they would always have it. Luca and Nora's love was not perfect, but it was real, and that's what made it beautiful. Their love was a journey, and they were both committed to making it a lifelong one.

And for that reason Luca wanted to propose. A few months before the proposal he had asked both Mrs. Dawson and Colin for their approval.

Luca had planned this trip to Norway for months, and he knew he wanted to propose to Nora under the Northern Lights. He had kept the ring hidden in his bag, waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question.

Luca had always dreamed of showing Nora the majestic fjords of Norway. He knew that their beauty was something that could not be missed, and he had planned the perfect day trip for them.

As they drove along the winding roads, Luca couldn't help but smile at Nora's excitement. She was taking in the sights, marveling at the steep cliffs, and the sparkling blue waters below.

Finally, they arrived at their destination, and Luca parked the car near the edge of the fjord. They stepped out, and Nora's eyes widened in amazement at the stunning scenery before her.

The sun was shining, and the sky was a brilliant shade of blue. The water glistened in the light, and the mountains surrounding them seemed to stretch on forever.

Luca took Nora's hand and led her to the edge of the fjord. They stood there in silence, taking in the beauty around them.

"This is incredible," Nora whispered, tears of wonder and awe in her eyes.

"I knew you would love it," Luca replied, squeezing her hand.

They stood there for a while, watching the boats pass by and taking in the tranquility of the moment. As the sun began to set, Luca turned to Nora with a smile.

"Come on, let's find a place to sit and watch the sunset," he said.

They walked along the edge of the fjord, taking in the breathtaking views. Finally, they found a secluded spot, and Luca spread out a blanket for them to sit on.

They sat there, side by side, watching as the sky turned shades of pink and orange, reflecting on the calm waters. Luca wrapped his arm around Nora's shoulders, and they both leaned back, taking in the beauty of the moment.

"This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen," Nora said, her head resting on Luca's shoulder.

"I'm glad I could share it with you," Luca replied, kissing the top of her head.

They sat there, watching the sunset and the changing colors of the sky until the stars came out. It was a moment that neither of them would ever forget, one that would forever be etched in their memories.

A few days later...

As they hiked through the snow-covered mountains, the Northern Lights began to appear in the sky above them. Nora gasped in wonder at the sight, and Luca took her hand.

"Come with me," he said, leading her to a clearing. "I want to show you something."

As they reached the clearing, Luca got down on one knee, his eyes shining with love and emotion.

"Nora, these last two years with you have been the best of my life," he began, pulling out the small velvet box from his pocket. "You have brought so much love and joy into my life, and I can't imagine spending a day without you by my side."

Tears streamed down Nora's face as she realized what was happening.

"Luca, what are you doing?" she whispered, barely able to speak.

"Will you marry me?" Luca asked, opening the box to reveal a stunning diamond ring.

Nora couldn't believe it. This was the moment she had dreamed of her entire life.

"Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!" she cried, her heart overflowing with love and joy.

Luca slipped the ring on her finger, and they embraced, both of them crying tears of joy.

They stood there, under the Northern Lights, in each other's arms, knowing that they would be together forever.
