Chapter 16 - Lily's Date

On Wednesday morning, Nora woke up with a feeling of excitement. She knew that today was the day Lily had been waiting for, her first official date with William. She quickly got dressed and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. As she was preparing breakfast, she heard Lily coming out of her room, humming a tune. Nora turned around and greeted her with a smile. "Good morning, sunshine! You look beautiful today," she said.

Lily blushed and replied, "Thank you, Nora. I'm really nervous about my date today."

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. William is a great guy and I'm sure you'll have an amazing time," Nora reassured her.

Lily smiled and thanked Nora for her kind words. They both sat down to eat breakfast and chatted about their plans for the day. Nora had a busy day ahead, with classes and a meeting with her business professor, while Lily was spending the day getting ready for her date.

After breakfast, Nora left for her first class. As she walked to the classroom, she saw Luca sitting on a bench, reading a book. She approached him and greeted him with a smile. They exchanged pleasantries and Nora told him about Lily's date with William.

Luca listened intently and then asked, "So, did William ask you for advice on what to do for the date?"

Nora nodded and said, "Yes, he did. I told him that Lily loves the outdoors, movies and food. He's taking her on a picnic on his uncle's farm, where they can watch a movie on the projector."

"That sounds like a great idea," Luca said, impressed. "William seems like a really thoughtful guy."

Nora smiled and nodded in agreement. They chatted for a few more minutes before Nora had to head to her class. She waved goodbye to Luca and walked into the classroom, feeling happy and excited for Lily.

The day passed by quickly, and before she knew it, it was time for Nora's meeting with her business professor. She went to his office and they discussed her progress in the class. Nora was happy to hear that she was doing well and her professor commended her on her hard work and dedication.

After the meeting, Nora headed back to the dorm. She opened the door to find Lily standing outside, looking radiant in a flowy dress.

"You look amazing, Lily!" Nora exclaimed, impressed.

"Thanks, Nora. I'm so nervous, but excited at the same time," Lily said, fidgeting with her dress.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Just be yourself and have fun," Nora reassured her.

Lily smiled and thanked Nora for her support.

A few minutes later William knocked on the door and Lily rushed to open it.

William greeted Lily with a kiss on the cheek. He looked up and saw Nora and smiled.

Nora walked towards Lily and gave her a hug and whispered in her ear "Enjoy it. Just be yourself."

Lily nodded.

She told them to enjoy their night and closed the door behind them.

She needs to start packing for tommorow.  Her mother is really excited to see them.

Lily and I decided that we're going home tomorrow and then coming back late Sunday night.

She started packing while listening to some music.

After she finished packing she took a book and started reading, waiting for Lily to come back home.

Lily arrived back home no later than 10 pm.

Nora asked Lily about her date and she told Nora that it was absolutely stunning and that William is such a gentleman. The two of them spoke some more about her date before Lily excused herself to go and pack.

Before Lily entered her room, Nora reminded her that they are leaving at 8 am tommorow morning.
