"Fun is not an activity, it is a state of mind. You can have fun doing anything, or nothing at all, as long as you choose to be in that state of mind." - Unknown
Nora and Luca had become practically inseparable over the past month. They had been spending most of their time together, studying for their upcoming exams, going on dates, and just having fun with their close friends.
Their relationship had been blossoming beautifully since they had become a couple a few months prior. The more time they spent together, the stronger their bond grew.
One particular moment that stood out for Nora during the past month was when her friend Elle had somehow convinced the whole squad to attend a college party.
Nora, Elle, and Lily had gotten ready together, carefully applying their makeup and meticulously choosing their outfits. Nora had opted for a simple yet elegant black dress that hugged her curves in all the right places, while her hair was styled in loose waves that cascaded down her back.
As they all piled into the car with the boys, Nora felt a rush of excitement build within her. She had never been to a college party before and was curious to see what it would be like.
When they arrived at the party, Nora was surprised to find that it wasn't nearly as wild and crazy as the movies portrayed it to be. The atmosphere was more relaxed, with people chatting and laughing over drinks, and music playing softly in the background.
The boys, however, were a different story. They were almost never seen at parties, and as a result, they immediately became the center of attention. People flocked around them, eager to talk and get to know them.
Meanwhile, the three girls decided to hit the dance floor. They swayed their hips to the beat of the music, laughing and twirling around each other. Nora felt carefree and alive, enjoying the feeling of being surrounded by her closest friends.
But then, something happened that threw her off guard. As she was dancing, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to see who it was, only to realize that she didn't know the person. The man tried to chat her up and get her attention, but Nora wasn't interested. She tried to walk away, but the man persisted, making her feel more and more uncomfortable.
Her heart racing, Nora began to lose her patience. But just as she was about to snap, she felt someone grab her wrist. It was Luca. He had noticed the man's unwanted attention and had come over to intervene. He pushed the man away from Nora and told him to leave her alone. The man, realizing it was Luca, immediately apologized and walked away.
Luca walked over to Nora, looking concerned. "Are you okay?" he asked, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. Nora nodded, relieved that he was there to protect her. She knew she could always count on him to be her hero when she needed one.
The rest of the night was filled with laughter and fun as they enjoyed the party with their friends. They took turns dancing with each other, sipping on drinks, and relishing the moment.
Nora, feeling bold, even decided to try her first shot of tequila. The alcohol burned her throat, but she laughed and enjoyed the feeling of being a little bit tipsy.
As the night came to an end, Nora felt a sense of contentment settle over her. She had had an incredible night with her closest friends, and Luca had been there to protect her when she needed it most.
As they all piled back into the car to head home, Nora leaned her head on Luca's shoulder and felt a deep sense of appreciation and gratitude for the amazing person in her life.
She knew that no matter what life threw their way, they would always have each other's backs. And that was all that mattered.
Another moment that stood out during the last month was when Luca interrupted one of her study sessions.
Nora smiled as she remembered the time Luca had surprised her during one of her study sessions. She had been studying for hours and was feeling exhausted and burnt out. Luca had noticed her struggling and decided to take matters into his own hands.
As he entered the room, Nora looked up, surprised to see him there. She was surrounded by textbooks and papers, her laptop open in front of her. Luca walked over to her and gently closed her laptop.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Nora asked, a small smile forming on her lips.
"I think you need a break," Luca said, his voice soft and soothing. "You've been studying for hours, and I miss spending time with you."
Nora couldn't help but laugh at his comment. "You miss me already? We've been spending all our time together!"
Luca chuckled and pulled her into a tight embrace. "I know, but I miss just being able to sit with you and talk without worrying about anything else."
Nora felt a warm feeling spread through her chest as she settled into Luca's embrace. They spent the rest of the evening cuddling on the couch, talking about everything and nothing at all.
