"Love is not just looking at each other, it's looking in the same direction." - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Luca had planned everything carefully, and he was a little nervous as he waited for Nora to arrive at his apartment. When she walked in, he greeted her with a bouquet of her favorite flowers and a warm smile.
"Luca, these are beautiful," Nora said, her eyes shining with delight.
"I'm glad you like them," Luca replied. "I wanted to do something special for you before you fly out tomorrow."
Nora smiled and gave Luca a hug. "That's so sweet of you, Luca. What did you have in mind?"
Luca led her to the living room, which he had decorated with candles and fairy lights. Soft music was playing in the background, and the room was filled with the sweet scent of vanilla.
"I wanted to spend the evening with you, just the two of us," Luca said, taking Nora's hand. "I have something important to tell you."
Nora looked at him with curiosity and a hint of concern. "What is it, Luca? Is everything okay?"
Luca took a deep breath and looked into Nora's eyes. "Nora, ever since the day I met you, my life has changed in so many ways. You've brought so much joy and happiness into my life, and I feel so lucky to have you in my life. I know we've only been dating for three months, but I can't imagine my life without you."
Nora's heart was beating fast as she listened to Luca's words. She had a feeling she knew where this was going, and she felt a surge of excitement and nervousness.
"Luca, what are you trying to say?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Nora, I love you more than words can express."
As Luca spoke those words, Nora's heart skipped a beat. She felt a rush of emotions that she couldn't quite put into words.
She knew she had feelings for Luca, but she didn't expect him to say those words just yet. She looked into his eyes, trying to gauge the depth of his feelings.
"I love you too, Luca," she finally said, her voice filled with emotion. "You mean so much to me."
Luca took Nora's hand in his and pulled her close. They looked into each other's eyes, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.
Nora felt a sense of comfort and belonging in Luca's embrace, and she knew that she had found someone special.
"I know we've only been dating for three months, but I can't imagine my life without you," Luca said, his voice choked with emotion. "You're the missing piece that I've been searching for all my life."
Nora felt a surge of love and affection for Luca as she heard those words. She knew that he was sincere in his feelings, and she felt the same way about him.
They had a special connection that was hard to describe, but it was something that they both felt deep in their hearts.
As they held each other, the soft music in the background seemed to fade away, and all that mattered was the love they had for each other.
They knew that they had found something special, something that would last a lifetime. In that moment, they knew that they were meant to be together.
