Epilogue

The hooded stranger made his way across the street, glancing from side to side to avoid the carriages that were flying through the streets. They made their way up to the manor house, knocking a certain tune that let Silas know that it was them, a code they had made long ago.

Silas creaked open the door, letting the stranger slip inside the house. Silas turns to look at the person that has come to visit, asking, "Anything?"

The person's grin was just visible from under the cloak, "She has just arrived at The Nexus headquarters in Asterfall. Hannah Porter has taken her in, and she has begun trying to control that power of hers."

Silas nodded thoughtfully, scratching the beard on his chin. He asked, "Do you have any suggestions?"

The mysterious person just smiled, "She asked about her brother Lucas, the one that you have said died a long time ago. I think it's time to find your follower that looks the most like her and send 'Lucas' to meet his 'sister'."

Silas looked confused, "And what good will that do? I lose a follower, though I can get a man on the inside."

The person scowled, "I am your man on the inside... Anyways, this person acting as her brother can break her down. Maybe we can use him to lure her back to you, or even just kill him if she disobeys to break her spirit. Since she is training, she will already have control of her powers that we can put to use. We just need a way to take her back here."

Silas slowly nodded, "Yes, that can work. We can send them on a bit of a hunt, make the hunters work for it and really think they accomplished something so they are less likely to be suspicious. We can try to use one of my newly transformed to get her back first, and if not 'Lucas' will be there right after."

The cloaked stranger nodded their head, "Brilliant idea, Master Silas."

Silas looked at the person in front of him, asking, "And how is it going, is anyone suspicious yet?"

The person let out a soft chuckle, shaking their head no, "Oh no, not at all. I am trusted blindly and they are not suspicious at all about their information getting out."

Silas nodded, "Perfect, is there anything else I should know about?"

The person nodded, "Ruler Cynthia of Asterfall is not aware of Elizabeth, and I have a feeling that soon she will contact her about her powers. We can use that to our advantage to get to Cynthia and take her out, then we can have control of Asterfall as well."

Silas grinned, "I love how you think. I think it's time that we get things rolling, don't you think? Good work, I will see you soon." He turned and made his way up the stairs deep into the manor house.

The cloaked stranger turned and left out of the manor house, slipping back into the crowds of people with a wicked grin on their face.
