Brace's POV

Saturday ngayon. Nasa bahay lang ako. I wanna talk to my Mom. Curious na kasi talaga ako kay J. Alam kong alam nila kung sino si J. Imposible naman na hindi nila alam eh kaibigan ko yun nung bata ako.

"Mom, Tell me the truth okay? Who's J?" Tanong ko kay Mommy. Kumakain kami ng almusal ngayon.

"Brace.. si J? Your childhood friend?"

"Yes. Where is she? And who is she?"

"Tapusin mo ang pagkain mo tapos usap tayo sa may pool side." Sabi niya at tumayo. Binilisan ko ang pagkain ko at agad akong nagtungo sa pool side.

"Now Mom, tell me who is J." Sabi ko at naupo sa tabi niya.

"Siguro naman Brace, bumabalik na ala-ala mo."

"What? Mom! What are you saying?" Gulat kong tanong sa kanya.

"You have an amnesia Brace. Back when you're still at the age of 6 a car hit you and you're with J that time."

"Just tell me who's J!" Sigaw ko.

"Si J. Ang nagiisang anak ng mga Dela Rosa. Once when you two are playing at the garden, you tell her that someday you'll marry her."

"One day, you two are playing at the park. Then you told her that you'll buy some dirty ice cream on the other side of the road. But.. A car hit you.. J was left crying with Joaquin."

"Wait! What? Joaquin?! He's also my childhood friend?!"

"Yes Brace. I told him not to tell you about this and Im sorry."

"Just continue your story mom."

"Brace, anak. Si J ay si Janine Dela Rosa. Ang anak ni Francis at Ella.. The girl you brought here last time."

Si.. Janine?

"But mom, she dont remember me!"

"She have an amnesia Brace. Naaksidente siya nung nasa America sila."

"Sheez."

Hindi ako makapaniwala sa nalaman ko. Ex ko si Janine. And she's my childhood friend. But she hates me.. I need to get her back.

"Joaquin! You shit. Bakit hindi mo sinabi sa akin na kilala mo si J!" Sabi ko at kwinelyuhan siya.

"Hahah. Chill men. I think you now know who is she." Sabi niya.

"Yes. Janine."

"Say sorry to her and get her back."

"Yes I will. Anyway, wala na ba si Zelo?"

"You dont know? Zelo's dead."

"What? Why?"

"Gang fight."

"Oh. Now what?"

"Get her back. We'll help you out. We're pals of course."

"Okay."

Janine's POV

Now is the day. Hindi ko na kaya! Miss ko na si Brace sobra. I'll talk to him and say sorry. I still love him tho.

"Janine, magsosorry rin ako kay Brace." Sabi ni John. Kasama ko siya dito sa garden.

"Okay, sabay na lang tayo. I'll text him."

Brace. Can we talk?

"Tinext ko na. Im nervous. Haha!" Sabi ko kay John.

Garden. Now na ha?

"Waaah! Papunta na siya John. Kinakabahan ako."

"Ano ka ba. Hahaha."

"Hey." Lumingon ako at nakita si Brace kasama yung barkada.

"Hey din. Haha." Sabi ko. Ngumiti si John sa kanila at tumango lang siya.

"Janine, come." Sabi niya at nilahad ang kamay niya.

Naglakad kami papunta sa isang bench dito sa garden.

"Janine, I wanna say sorry. Sorry for leaving you for 4 months. It's just important.."

"Sorry rin Brace.." Sabi ko sa kanya.

"So, tayo na ulit? Do you still love me Janine?"

"Yes. Hindi naman nawala ang pagmamahal ko sayo Brace eh. You're my Captain America." Sabi ko sa kanya ng nakangiti.

"Thank you Babe. I love you." Sabi niya sa akin at kiniss ako sa forehead.

"Anyway, I have something to tell you."

"Ano man?"

"You're my J. You're my childhood friend. The girl I wanna marry and my forever."

"What? Haha. No Brace, Im not J. But I bet. Im your forever! Haha."

"No, Im serious. You have an amnesia right? Noong nasa america kayo nabangga ka."

"How'd you know that?" Gulat kong tanong sa kanya.

"My Mom told me. She know's you because youre J."

"Pasensya na Brace ah. Wala talaga akong matandaan about that."

"It's fine. The good thing is, I'll marry you someday because from now on. You're my J." Sabi niya and kissed me on the lips. A passionate kiss.

"Ehem ehem." So ayun. May epal na naman.

"Joaquin!" Sigaw ni Brace sa kanya.

"Bro, haha. If you want, go to a motel and make a baby." Nanlaki mata ko sa sinabi niya.

"Loko! Hahahaha!"

"Brace, kumpleto na ulit tayo. Balik na si John sa atin eh."

"Paano ba yan? Together forever na tayo!" Sigaw ni Brace. Nagkulitan pa kami at nagtawanan. Ito kami. Barkada. Magkakaisa. Kahit minsan may bangayan at awayan, mananatili kaming magkakaibigan. Forever friends. And syempre, kasama ang boyfriend kong gwapo at mataas ang self confidence. Hahaha!
