•Married? Or not.•

*Y/N POV*
Me and Shawn had been dating for about 3 years and he wanted to take me out for a dinner date. We were currently walking into the fancy restaurant. I knew that it costed a lot and I sorta felt bad.

"Reservations for Mendes" he said

"Okay you can follow me" the host replied

Shawn grabbed my hand and lead me through the restaurant following the host. We got to our table and it was candle lit in a dimmed room. A bottle of wine was placed on the table and I got excited. The waiter put some into my glass and also Shawn's.

"Are you ready to order?" She asked us both

"No not yet.. Thank you though" I quickly replied

She nodded and walked away.

"Shawn you didn't have to spend this much money on me"

"It's okay baby, I wanted to. After all, we haven't been to a fancy restaurant in a while because of work and being busy." He said reassuringly

We both grabbed our glasses of wine and toasted to each other.

*Skip eating (because I'm lazy)*
"Okay I need to do something that's been bothering me all night." He said

He bent on one knee by me and started to do something but I cut him off.

"Of course I will marry you Shawn!" I said loudly and started to cry. I hugged him and he rubbed my back.

"Y/N, you know I wasn't proposing right? I was fixing your heel. It's unstrapped." He whispered into my ear

"Shit.. No I didn't know that.. Hehe. Oops. Everyones looking at us now" I whisper yelled into his ear.

"It's okay. Just play it off like I did really propose.. Let's make a run for it" he said into my ear.

He picked me up bridal style and quickly walked to the front. He threw 70 dollars on the front desk and went out the door. He ran to the car and unlocked it. He then sat me down in my seat and jogged to the other side. When he got in I felt extremely embarrassed.

"Shawn I didn't mean to ruin our night." I said feeling guilty

"Baby, you didn't ruin it.. We've been together for a while so that's what any couple would expect. Getting married might actually be a great idea.. Watch out, because soon I might pop the question." He said and winked over at me.
