•"Shorty"•

*Sara's POV*
Me and Shawn were at Six Flag's looking for a ride. We had rode almost everything. Shawn spotted a rollercoaster and he was dying to ride it.

I was scared of them a little but me being an amazing girlfriend, I obliged.

The ride operator told me to stand at the height chart. I was almost too short, just at the mark considering I'm only 4'10.

Shawn started to laugh and I became confused. The ride operator told me that I had to ride with Shawn because I was too short and little to ride alone. I felt embarrassed.

"Haha. My short muffin has to ride with me! You're so little and cute!" He gushed while pinching me cheeks.

"Hey! Quit it. I'm not in the mood." I said while pouting.

Shawn pulled me close to him and hugged me.

"It's okay baby. I think your shortness is adorable. It makes you so mini." He said in my ear

I blushed slightly but looked down to hide it. It was our turn to get on the ride so we walked up. Shawn found the seat he wanted us to sit in and he told me to get in. I was struggling because they made the tracks higher than needed.

Shawn chuckled and lifted me into the cart. He got in after me and smiled at me. I pouted again and looked away. One of the workers came around to latch us and he hooked me in.

"There ya go shorty" he said while walking to the next person.

I was fuming because I always hated to be called shorty. I'm a 16 year old the size of a 9 year old.

The ride started and I instantly got scared. I gripped onto the bar tightly and Shawn noticed.

He held my hand and began to rub small circles with his thumb (😏 hehe). It instantly soothed me as always and I got rid of some anxiousness.

We came up on the edge of a hill and the cart went down. I could feel my stomach in my chest and I screamed as loud as ever. I was terrified. Shawn was laughing the whole time and it made me happy to see him that way.
We went through some more twists, turns, loops, and drops. Finally the ride was over.
I unhooked, jumped out, and walked over to Shawn.

"Oh my god" I started

"THAT WAS AWESOME" Shawn's said cutting me off.

We walked through the gates and saw our pictures they took while on the ride. I started to laugh because of our faces.

"There's that beautiful smile I wanted to see" he said while lifting my chin and kissing my cheek

I blushed yet again and smiled. Sometimes being short isn't so bad.
