*Shawns POV*
I was cooking muffins with my 3 year old daughter Kendall when she asked me a question I always tried to avoid.

"Daddy, where's mommy and why don't I ever see her?"

"Well, baby you see, mommy was a beautiful angel and God needs all his Angels back. He ran out of them so he needed mommy. Mommy is in Heaven right now but she's watching over us. We will see her one day." I replied trying not to cry

"Would I have liked mommy?"

"You would have loved her. She was a beautiful princess like you. She was very nice and loves you very much." I said getting teary eyed

"Do you miss Mommy, Daddy?"

"I miss mommy more than you could know. Princess, do you want to know what I called Mommy?" I asked her

"YEAH, YEAH!"

"I called her Muffin. That was her nickname. Mommy looked just like you." I told her

"I don't understand why she had to go bye-bye. I want to meet her." She said about to cry.

"It's ok princess. You will understand one day when you are older." I replied

I got the muffins out of the oven and put them on 2 plates. I gave one to Kendall while she was sitting on the couch. I put on "Frozen" for her to watch until she fell asleep.

*An hour or so later*
I picked her up and brought her to her room. I stripped her clothes off and put her pajamas on. I kissed her forehead and tucked her in. On the way out I whispered "goodnight my beautiful princess" to her.

I walked to 'our' room or should I say 'my' room. I changed into pajama pants and took my shirt off. I got into bed and just started to cry.

*Kendall's POV*
I woke up and heard crying. I walked to Daddy's room and saw that it was him. I walked to the side of the bed and shook his shoulder.

"Daddy are you ok?"

He looked down at me and smiled.

"Yeah princess I'm okay I'm just sad. I miss mommy." He said

"Go into your bedroom baby I'm coming to tuck you in." He continued

"No daddy I'm staying with you." I tried to get into the bed but I'm too short. Daddy laughed a little bit and pulled me up. He pulled the covers up for me to go under and I snuggled up to Daddy.

"Daddy, I love you. Remember, we will see mommy one day. She loves us and misses us too."

He smiled and hugged me tight.

"I know princess. I love you too. We are gonna go night-night now. Goodnight baby." He said
"Ok night-night Daddy. Sweet dreams"
We fell asleep hugging each other. I love my Daddy.
