•Army Family•

*Y/N POV*
I was driving to go see my fiancé, Shawn Mendes. He is currently in the Army and is coming home for a couple months. Christian, our 3 year old son is excited to see him and to be honest so am I. We are driving to the Army lot where the men get off the bus from the airport. I noticed that Christian is sleeping so I smile at him.

*45 minutes later*
I pulled into the parking lot, parked the car, and turned it off. I grabbed my phone and walked over to Christian in the car. I shook him sweetly to try and get him up.

"Christian, baby get up. We are here. We get to see Daddy in a minute."

"Oh my gosh! I get to see my Daddy! Mommy, I'm excited. I missed him!" He exclaimed while stretching in his car seat

I picked him up and closed the door. I locked the doors just in case and walked to the building and went inside. I walked in and sat in an empty seat at a table. I rubbed Christian's back while he cuddled into me.
"Are you still tired Muffin?"

"Yeah a little bit but I wanna see my Daddy!" He said yawning

I saw a camouflage bus pull up. I picked Christian back up and stood up to see. I saw men get out with uniforms until one caught my eye.

It was Shawn. "Muffin, look there's Daddy!"

"DADDDYYYY!" He yelled while running to him.

Shawn picked him up and gave him a huge hug. I heard a handful of people saying "Awe". I took pictures the whole time and they came out adorable. I walked to him and he engulfed me in a hug.

I started to cry tears of joy because you never know if you will see that person again when they go into the Army.

"I missed you both so much." He said

"I think we missed you more. I'm so happy you are home."

"Yeah, Mommy talks about how much she loves you and misses you all the time. She sometimes tells me how much you love me!" Christian exclaimed

Shawn chuckled and nodded. We started to walk to the car. I got into the drivers seat and Shawn put Christian into his car seat. After he buckled him I heard him talking to him.

"Hey Muffin, I missed you and your Mommy soooo much! Don't ever forget how much I love you no matter what!"

He gave him a kiss on the head and Christian replied with "I missed you too Daddy, I wanna be just like you one day! You're a super hero. Mommy told me you save a lot of lives! I won't ever forget I promise!" He held out his pinky, him and Shawn connected them.

"You promise." Shawn said

I started to cry silently to myself and got it all on camera. It was the cutest thing to see them together. I'm the luckiest woman alive. I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful son.
