"I can't stay without her. Even if so much time had passed away. No. Not anymore. Since my entire lifetime I am searching for her. I searched her in my both wives. Alas I can't find her again." A man was sitting upright in his lavish four-poster bed by clutching his head in hands. His big brown eyes were moisted in tears.
Today in no reason he was recalling his first love. His lover. His childhood friend. Baishali. They were till their childhood inseparable in nature. They both were laughing together, playing together, they even had been grown up together. His father Adhirath and her father Satyasen were close friends since their own childhood. They had vowed to marry their children with each other. When Adhirath had him and his friend Satyasen had got a girl named Baishali then they promised to marry him with her. They had also known it since childhood and that did not hamper their friendship. Baishali was in love with him he had no such idea. Her girlish giggle and blushing by seeing his face made him greatly uncomfortable. Being a shy-natured boy he could not feel confident by seeing her flustered face. He always turned his face to the left to hide his growing humiliation. He could recall all of his memories with her since childhood to teenage. After teenage they did not get any chance as she had died at 16. He was just 17 then. He had remembered one day and a faintest smile escaped his lips. He was so fond of recalling his memory with her.
Memory 1 :
"I want to marry you." A 6 years girl vocally active in her demand.
A 7 years old boy who was practicing with his wooden sword had bit his lips. His hands trembled a bit and his aim got missed. He became angry and pulled her bun in his both hands.
"Auch. It hurts." She immediately then broke into a sob.
He became nervous. He did not a bit expected this reaction from her.
"I am sorry." He meekly answered her.
"You should be. Unless I will fight with you when I marry you." She pouted her lips.
"I will never marry you." He stood by lowering his head to floor and tried to scratch the ground with his big toe finger of right leg. It was his signature style that showed his humiliation.
"Why not?!! Am I not pretty?!!" She had asked her proudly. She was just 6 years old then.
Memory 2 :
"Why not?!! Am I not pretty?!!" She had asked him proudly by putting her both arms around his neck. She was 16 years old then.
He as usual tilted his head to the left to hide his flustered face. He was now happy thinking that they were both engaged. They both were going to be married very soon according to their parents wishes.
"Don't you love me anymore?!! You have changed a lot. You are more wise at childhood." She again pouted her red lips together in mock rage.
"I love you very much, Baishali. You know that from your heart. Why you pester me always to know the same answer over and over again?!!!" He asked her. In surprise.
"I don't accept that. Prove it. Now." She tilted her head to him.
He touched her forehead with his own. "Now?!! Are you happy?!!" He asked her.
She silently nodded her pretty head in disappointment. "No. I need more." She demanded.
"What?!!" He asked in shock.
She kissed his lips softly. "This" Then she put her head in his chest happily.
He bit his lips together with the teeth. He felt overwhelmed. His face got hot red. That was his first kiss. But he did not know that it was her first too.
Memory 3 :
They were extremely happy while galloping together. He like always prefered to ride over a black horse. She on a white one.
Suddenly some thugs stopped their horses.
"What do you want?!!" He screamed aloud.
"Her." A rough looking thug pointed out to his would be wife. Baishali.
He gritted his teeth in rage. Then he clutched his grip so tightly that it went white. She stiffen in anxiety. Her heart was thumping aloud inside her chest.
"What do you suggest?!!" He asked that thug.
"Give her to me. I will sent you back alive." The man told and then burst into a hearty roar of laughter.
"Never." He cried aloud and jumped on the man with open sword.
The thug wanted to pierce his heart with his sword but could not do that. Someone cried aloud and guarded him with her own body. The sword of the thug struck inside the heart of the girl who was guarding him with her body.
"Aaahh" With a loud cry she fell down. Limply.
"Baishali.." He cried in extreme pain while clutching her lifeless body. He now realized that it was his lover, his Baishali, who jumped to save his life with her own.
"Baishali. Talk to me. Come back to me." His cry of pain broke the silence of the nighttime.
Tears were running down heavily from his eyes. His heart was broken down. He felt dejected. He felt dead. With her gone, he had lost his urge to live.
