She was unconscious for the whole day. Both her sisters, Padmavati and Supriya, were tremendously worried for her well-being. They both sat on her the bed side whole day and night. Padamavati often for some times ran to fetch hot water bottle to message on her sister's feet along with the cold water clothes to give on her forehead. Her middle sister, Supriya, was sitting uptight on her head, without blinking Her eyelids once, to give the "Jalpatti" or the wet clothes over her forehead, mostly done for a sick person to lower his/her fever. Her temperature was truly very high. It was not coming down a bit. She had fever since two days but she did not inform anyone about it. She did not want to ruin the happy and cheerful mood of everyone a bit. Her dedication was truly very much remarkable!!!

Padmavati brought another bucket full of cold water along with her maid Shukla and silently instructed her not to inform the guests about it. Shukla nodded her head in agreement and went away to attend the guests.
"Su, I think you should go there too." She told her younger sister.
Supriya nodded her head violently in disagreement. Then lifted her moisted eyes to her "I can't, Jiji. I just can't. I can't leave her in this condition." She wiped her eyes gently and added "It's my fault."
Padmavati tilted her own pretty head towards her and asked in utter shock "How come it's your fault?!!"
"She slept with me. But I was so busy with the babies. I did not notice about her fever. I am sorry." Supriya sniffed in between talking.
"Now. Now. Come down. Nothing bad will happen. That's okay. In this way it is my fault too. I was not attentive to my baby sister's needs." She hugged Supriya tightly whose tensed muscles relaxed a bit by her gentle touch but she broke into a hearty sob. Within these months she fell in love with this naive baby sister of hers. This Karna wive was also full of affection and love for all. Her baby sister was her one of priorities. She seemed to fail in it and was cursing herself in mind.
Padmavati ran her hand through her sister Supriya's hair and murmured softly in her mind "Madhava, please save her. This fever is complicating her condition. If it continues she can loss her child. Save them. Both. Take my life. Save her's." ....
Lord Krishna sighed softly and looked towards the sky. He said to someone in mind "Don't worry, Mahadev, I will not let her die. I promised you to save her. I will do that if necessary."
