Chapter.8
_________________________________________

I looked at myself in the mirror, pressing the cold towel against my eyes, trying to get the redness to go away. It usually never works but it helps me cool down.

As I try to clean up, I start to cry again. I hit the counter with my fist and look at myself in the mirror again. "You are stronger than this, quit being such a fucking-" The bathroom door opened, revealing Felix.

He looked angry, "What did I do?" I asked him. He furrowed his eyes at me and his head twitched to the side. "Uh no, you really think thay badly of me?" He asked me.

"Uh yeah, you bashed my fucking head and broke multiple of my bones" I replied in a smart tone. He clenched his jaw, I had just realized what I had said "I'm sorry, I didn't mean-" he grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me out of the bathroom, almost pulling my arm out of its socket.

He dragged me through the house "What are you doing?!" I asked him, I panicked, I didn't know what to do. In order to prevent him from pulling me so hard, I had to walk the same pace he was.

The house was empty, everyone had left, or so I thought...

Felix pulled me to a door in the kitchen, we stopped and he turned to face me, I met his eyes. He opened the door and pushed me in.

Cries filled the room, I gasped as I looked at the horrid scene in front of me. Blood everywhere, all over the floor, some on the walls.

Six men were on their knees, all bruised and bloody. Each man had one of Felix's minions beating them to a pulp. Minho was having his way with the man that had harassed me earlier.

I started to panic.

Their cries could be heard, even the sound of their faces being pounded could be heard. Why were they beating them? Why did they even care what happened to me?

My bottom lip quivered and my teeth started to chatter.

"Stop!" Felix ordered.

His men stopped what they were doing, they glanced at Felix and quickly stepped away from the bloodied men on the floor. I didn't know why they were so quick to step away, that was until I saw Felix pull a pistol from his pocket.

He aimed at the men.

I jumped and covered my ears, the sound of the gunshots was bouncing off the walls. My ears felt like they were bleeding, I could see Felix yelling in my face but I heard nothing, as the seconds past, his voice could be heard yet it was muffled.

"Why?" I kept asking myself "Why me?" Tears blurred my vision, I couldn't see that Felix was holding the gun out to me. He forcefully grabbed my hand and placed the gun in my hand.

My hearing started to come back, and I finally heard what he was saying.

"Shoot him" I heard him say, he dragged me over to the man who had harassed me, I couldn't look him in the eye, he couldn't look me in the eye either, his face was too swollen.

I shook my head and tried handing the gun back to Felix but he pushed my hand away. I was trembling, I looked down at the gun in my shaky hands. "Shoot him!" Felix shouted, his voice echoed in the empty garage.

"No" I shook my head as I cried, Felix grabbed my chin, forcing me to look at him, "You aim that gun at the bastards head and shoot" he said. I kept shaking my head, he huffed and forced me to aim the gun at the man's head. "I will kill you, if you don't shoot him" he whispered in my ear.

I inhaled sharply, trying to force the air into my lungs but I just couldn't find the strength to breathe. The man couldn't even function correctly, he had been beaten so badly.

"Shoot him!"

I turned and aimed the gun at Felix, his men pulled their guns out and aimed them at me. Felix didn't react, he didn't even move a muscle. He no longer looked angry, he looked disappointed.

I sobbed as I looked into his eyes, my finger rested on the trigger. Everyone was silent as they waited for me to shoot.

But I didn't...

I swiped my thumb over the safety switch. Felix put his hand up, signaling to his men to put their guns down. I lowered the gun and looked over at the man on the ground.

Felix and his men all watched me closely. I turned to Felix again and shoved the gun into his chest. I met his eyes, "Killing him isn't going to make him suffer" I said to him.

Felix was quiet.

"Can I leave now?" I asked him, I knew he wouldn't answer me, he didn't want to say yes or no, so he stayed silent.

"Alright then"
