Chapter.29
_________________________________________

The door opened, but I didn't bother checking to see who it was. I hung my head, allowing the handcuffs to rub my wrist raw.

Felix has a plan, but he couldn't just free me and take me with him. He still has to get everyone on board with the plan.

I felt the wind off of the doors as they closed. I saw two black combat boots in through the strands of hair covering my face. My heart raced, and I feared the person standing in front of me.

"How you holdin' up, sis?"

Hearing his voice, hearing him ask me that. I couldn't help but cry. I shook as I silently cried, I could feel his eyes on me. All the stress and all the pain covered me in a heavy blanket. I couldn't breathe.

"I need you to look at me,"

I shook my head and sniffled.

"Look at me!"

I jumped, and the room went silent, yet you could hear his voice bouncing off the walls. I slowly looked up, I saw him for the first time in seven years. He looks so different. He's no longer the fifteen year old boy I used to know.

The boy I used ding dong ditch with.

He didn't look angry. He didn't look like he wanted to kill me.

"You look like shit," he said with a laugh.

"You're not going to kill me, are you?"

"Damn, they really brainwashed you, didn't they?" He asked. He's still his old sarcastic self. I looked him up and down, I searched for any weapon he might have had on him. I didn't see anything. They must have checked him before he came inside.

He grabbed the chair from the corner of the room and set it in front of me. I watched as he took a seat. "I'm guessing the leader of the group did this to you?" He asked.

I didn't respond, I didn't know how to, so I just stayed silent.

"Jin wasn't the only one to call me, surprisingly," he said.

I squinted at him. "Chris' brother contacted me, wanting to form alliances," he told me. I opened my mouth to say something but couldn't get any words out. "I want to ask you if he's trustworthy." He clasped his hands over his lap and leaned back in the chair.

"I'm sorry... I'm just - I'm shocked to see you," I said to him.

"It's alright," he said.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and looked down. "He is, he's an asshole but he's honest and trustworthy. He never breaks his promises." I replied.

Nathan was silent.

He looked suspicious of me, I could tell he was unsure.

"Alright."

I act as though I'm in pain as Nathan drags me down the hall and up the stairs. Seokjin, Namjoon, and Yoongi followed behind us.
