I jump with a gasp, the familiar smell of bleach, and scented hand sanitizer fills my lungs. The TV plays in the background, overlapping the sound of my breath. I looked down at the IV in my arm, I followed the tube with my eyes until I noticed the heart monitor.

I was alone in the room, I peeked at the bandages underneath my hospital gown. I pressed the nurse button multiple times until a nurse finally came. She sounded out of breath "Oh you're awake," she said.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't be here," I said.

"What are you talking about? You've just been shot, " she said as she began checking my vitals. "I know," I said, I looked up at the TV.

"Do I have visitors?" I asked her.

"Yeah, you have quite a few," She replied.

"Can you send them in, please?" I asked her, and she met my eyes. "Okay, let me finish checking your vitals, and I will send them in," she said. I nodded and turned to the TV again, I started chewing at my fingernails.

She finished checking everything and was finally leaving, I waited and waited after she left the room. Shortly after she left, people started to pile into the room.

They all looked beaten up pretty badly. I cringed at the sight, I wondered how much pain they were in.

Everyone was silent. Everyone had quite a few things to get off their chests. I met Seokjin's eyes. "I'm sorry," I said to him, I was still chewing on my fingers. I could feel the tears coming.

"There's nothing to be sorry for," he said.

"Why did you come back?" Felix asked.

I glanced over at him, "You know why." I replied. He clenched his jaw and looked down, I tore my eyes from him and looked at Seokjin again. "And I'm guessing what you guys didn't want to tell me was that Nathan is in LA?" I asked him.

Seokjin was quiet.

"I was bound to find out sooner or later," I said.

"How have you been?" Felix tried changing the subject.

"I've been amazing," I replied in a sarcastic tone, "Reese is making friends at school, I'm saving up to get a house. Soon, my life will be normal again, " I told them.

"Then why did you come back?" Chris asked me.

I met his eyes "Cause, I've already chosen what life I want to live, Chris," I replied. I winced as I sat up in a seated position. Felix went to help me, but I stopped him. "I'm fine." I told him. I looked to Seokjin again.

"I want all in"

Seokjin shook his head and looked down. "You don't know what you're asking for," He said.

"I know damn well what I'm asking for." I told him, he looked up at me again. "I can't just turn away and put this all behind me, Seokjin." I said. He turned to Felix, and Felix met his eyes.

A silence fell between them, I looked over at Minho. He lowered his head as if showing respect towards me. I squinted at him.
