Chapter.24
_________________________________________

"Open your eyes"

I've been blindfolded ever since we landed at this mystery location. I can smell the sunny haze, something that I'm not particularly used to. I mean... when I was a kid, the summers in Georgia were horrible, the weather would be out of control and we'd have droughts for days, we lived off the AC and portable fans.

Not only that, I could hear waves crashing into eachother. It was like heaven to my ears. I tore the blindfold off of my face and gasped.

It was the beach.

"Surprise" Felix said.

I covered my mouth as I looked out onto the waves. I turned around and met Felix's eyes. "You said you have never been to a beach but there was that time we kidnapped in Korea... on the beach" he reminded me.

"I tend to block memories like that out of my mind" I said, he laughed. I wrapped my arms around his neck, he doesn't know how to show affection or how to show someone he cares, so he buys them things. He can't help it, he was raised that way.

But I am willing to work with him everyday, I'm willing to show him that it's okay to show affection.

He was hesitant to touch me, so I grabbed both of his hands "It's okay" I whispered, I placed his hands on my waist, he looked down at my lips. I smiled and snaked my hands up his chest and around his neck again.

I touched his lips with mine and pulled him closer. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me even closer.

I smiled against his lips, he kissed me again.

His phone started ringing, I pulled away and looked down at his pocket. He looked down as well and grabbed his phone, it was Seokjin. He turned the phone on silent and went back to kissing me. I laughed "You should answer that, it could be an emergency" I said, he sighed and grabbed his phone again, he pressed it to his ear after answering.

He started speaking in Korean.

There didn't seem to be a change in his tone, so that was good, nothing serious.

The phone call didn't take thay long, Felix ended it pretty quickly. He met my eyes again "The house is ready" he said.

"House?" I asked.

"Yeah, we're not going to stay in a hotel again" he said. He turned away from me and started heading back towards the parking lot. I ran up and grabbed his hand, he didn't pull away.

We make it to his car, he stops in his tracks, making me stop as well. I looked at him concerned. He walked to the passenger side door, I followed. He opened the door for me, I smiled "Look at you being a gentleman" I joked.

"Don't make me regret it" he said, I hopped in the car, he hopped in as well after closing the door behind me. We pulled out of the parking lot and out onto the main road.

LA...

I've never been to LA.

It's beautiful, I've heard good and bad things about this place, mostly bad. "Wow" I said as I looked up at the beautiful skyscrapers. He looked over at me a couple times, there was a faint smile on his face.
