Veronica's POV:-

Today was college's first day, it was my second year's first semester at college. At first I thought that I would go to Vancouver for my university, but if I go dad would be here alone. I'm already so far away from him if I leave, I don't know if I will ever get the chance to mend our relation.

I've tried and failed but never lost hope, I know one day I will bring my dad back to me. By keeping on telling myself that, I might even make it there one day, losing hope is that one step that leads to failure.

I got in my sexy Laura, another one of dads present (navy blue BMW and yes i named her but she was the most amazing present i have ever had).

I've always been a fan of long drives alone, it gives me time to think; clear my head. I had a record of never getting late to school, well most of the credit goes to Brenda for waking me up on time, also I could drive like crazy, and let me tell you not a single accident or hit(thankfully).

I pulled my car over in the parking lot, and scanned the lot to see if any of my friends were there but I think they all were inside. I did spot Caroline's car though.

Walking into through the gates I checked my cell phone for a message from Caroline, my best friend; asking me where I was and that her first class was calculus and analytical geometry.

She is my childhood friend, daughter of the city's mayor, when I first met her I thought she was crazy and weird, but then slowly we got to know each other and here we are 12-13 years later.

I kept my phone in my back pocket and walked towards the office to collect my schedule, after getting it I saw my first class was also cal, guessing Care would already be there I rushed towards the class.

I liked being in college, the restrictions leveled down and the timings of the lectures were good too didn't have to wake up at freaking 6 in the morning, some lectures were in the afternoon and a few in the morning around 9, the best part I could miss a class and no one would call dad saying I was absent. Well it was generally fun being here even though sometimes it was harder to cope with the studies. But then again high school wasn't any better.

When I entered the class I was engulfed in a bear hug, and I knew who it would be, Ashley and her sister Lindsey Brolin the twins, when they released me from their bone crushing hug, they showered me with hundreds of questions. "Ver we missed you sooooo much." Said Ashley "how are you?" continued Lindsey

"Oh and by the way do you know we met the actors of supernatural in Vancouver, they were sooooo amazing, and up close. Even sexier!" Ash said with a smirk. "Where is Care? Is she coming today or not?" She asked

"WOA HEY GUYS STOP THAT QUESTION TRAIN!!" I semi yelled at them. "I missed you guys too and Care will be here, she has the same class, and did you guys take any pictures with the cast." I answered them with a smirk at the end.

"Okay, come let's sit, the class is about to start. And yes we did" Ashley said winking back.

I met Ashley and Lindsey when I joined high school they both are twins and lovely they became my friends the instant we started talking first. One could say they were outgoing and practically queen bee types, but Care and I knew them well to say otherwise.

Ashley was the one who dated a lot but never got serious, she used to be among the school cheerleader squad, athletic, pretty, aced her subjects and had quiet a large boy crowd.

Lindsey was the opposite of her sister, she had the beauty and brains but the amount of weird one can take-well lets just say she was unbearable. She usually scares any boy who starts liking her and generally anyone who tries to befriend her. I'm not complaining, its better one than two. We barely make it through the day before her weirdness starts creeping on us.
