"I still find everyday too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see"

Veronica's POV:-

Aaron looked at me, awe filling his eyes, grazing every inch, every nook of my body from head to toe. His mouth hung open for a moment before I could see him swallowing a lump in his throat. His reaction caused me to turn crimson.

Either it looked awful or absolutley breath-taking. I was really nervous to find out which was it.

We were currently in the shop-I ordered my dress to be made and well the trial of the dress caused this. When we came in we had to wait for about ten minutes because a bride to be was trying her dress and everything after the alterations. I don't normally get my dresses made but Care is a sucker for that. She designs all her big event dresses and she gets them custom made from a tailor. So here we were.

Every other minute Aaron huffed and glanced at his watch, irritated by his behavior I couldn't help but get angry at him. "I told you I could go by myself. But NOooooooooo, you wanted to do a tag team. I am sick and I have headache, so stop making me more irritated than I already am."

"What did I do"? Thank God before I could burst into a killing mode Mr. Banners secretary told us he was free.

And now I was standing in front of the mirror and I could see Aaron's face who was sitting opposite the mirror on the couch-in the long mirror.

A floor length gown in chilly red color. I wasn't really sure about the color because it screams dangerous and we all know I was far from that but it did look good. Care's constant bugging did land me on something good. I rocked red.

The gown was amazing it hugged my body showing all the possible curves, full see through sleeves and the lacy red back with red velvet buttons instead of a zipper, probably because the material was too delicate. It looked mesmerizing to me though I still was nervous about Aaron's views even though I shouldn't have.

Aaron stood up slowly and came near me. Seeing him stride towards me made my heart race. He stopped a few centimeters away from me, his intoxicating cologne engulfing all my senses. His body heat made me squirm in my place. Had to come so freaking near. Even my breath hitched and he would probably think I was dumb.

He brought his hand up and slowly slipped the Chinese hair stick I used to pin my hair in a bun. My hair fell on my shoulders, I could smell the sweet jasmine scent of my shampoo. Without any further action or word he slowly moved away from me and sat back in his place.

What????

Just that? There has to be more. Now I was ready to see him probably say that I looked like the red crown thing on the heads of those fighter chickens.

Standing there I felt heat creep up my face, I looked at him confused. He didn't even speak a word, just pulled my hair down, why? Before this situation could become  anymore uneasy for me, thanfulky Mr. Banners came in the room.

After assuring Mr. Banners that the dress was amazing I got my and Care's dress packed up, paid and left. I finally took a sigh of relief to take that dress off because one I could not decipher what Aaron was thinking as well as the fact that he was staring at me constantly without saying anything. I would catch him taking glances at me while I was talking to Mr Banners.

Since he had pulled my hair down, he hadn't spoken a word, it was very unnerving. I never thought that he would miss any opportunity to play his luck or making my life a living hell around him.

The tension in the car was thick; I could hear my heart racing. Every other minute he would steal a glance at me and do that half smirk/smile thing. Fiddling with my fingers I tried to take clam breaths, slow enough so that he could not hear me.
