"I don't pay attention to the world ending. for me it has ended numerous times and started again in the morning"

Veronica's POV:-

"Veronica darling would you join us please?" Megan's voice called me from inside the living room where she was sitting with her husband and Aaron's mother.

Opening the sliding doors I made my way to her. The dark haired women smiled and motioned for me to sit across her. It was very hard for me to wonder why she was so happy. Why were they all lying to each other, what did Aaron hide. What was my father hiding. Why was Aaron's mother such a mysterious woman and what the hell did Kevin Flynn think I would magically be okay with this marriage.

Yet I went in quietly smiling as if all this was not bringing about 20 storms per minute in my brain.

I noticed everybody was now sitting together. When I turned to find a place there was only one seat left and that was beside Aaron so I seated myself there groaning inaudibly.

"Did you find a dress of your liking, honey?" Megan asked me almost like a young naive girl.

"Yes I did, you'll like it." I told her with a smile of my own.

"Oh don't worry about me. Only Aaron has to like anybody else's opinions should be worthless." she said with a wink our way.

Dear God! Someone stop her!!

"I hope he didn't see you in the dress yet? Because then there will be no reaction when he see's you as a bride." At her question I turned towards Aaron and he was about to answer when I cut in.

"No, he didn't." Aaron snapped his neck in my direction quickly but then understood why I lied.

I just couldn't tell her that he helped me take off the dress or else we would have to hear one more of her jokes about us being in love and probably a wink our way and I wasn't having it.

Fortunately, after this, the conversation flowed easily with no more attention towards me.

Ever since I have been here Mr.Flynn has not even once talked to me directly nor have I heard him say how talented he thinks I am. But today when he started talking about how I had him clapping at my performance it took me off guard.

Suddenly sitting there beside Aaron I had become weary of everybody in that room no matter if it was even my father. Especially him. I would have expected everything of him but this kind of marriage was certainly a surprise.

"Mom this girl is so talented, I swear hunter had always been hiding his gem for the right time. She sings and plays so well and not to forget her thoughts about Aaron here." He took a sip from his wine glass and put it back on the center table while Aaron gaped at him.

"She is the only person who has been able to put our brat in his place, which rarely people do and only in a first few meeting coincidences. They're meant for each other because I for one cannot accept that someone can keep up with Aaron's temperament. " Aaron's grandparents laughed while me an Aaron gaped at each other.

"Dad I'm right here if you don't know." Aaron buzzed in but his father just dismissed the matter laughing a bit while everybody else did the same.

Could this all get anymore fake? Or could these old folks get anymore fooled? Or were they even being fooled? Maybe it was just me being fooled here.

"Why did I not know that you could sing. Well its never too late. Why don't you sing a song for us, honey?" Here we go.

Calm down. Calm down.
