I find it yet another odd coincidence that I mention the idea of a Take Two so many times in this fic, because to me, it connects with Soo Ah's acting, but also because it connects with our own desire to fix what we've done wrong, or to be given the chance to do better. I think for me, both Yoongi and Soo Ah are trying to be better, and trying to grow, but it's not always easy to give up what you know for the risk and vulnerability that comes with launching yourself forward into something new. I am very glad both characters got there in the end and have their own take two.
This fic was started on January 6, 2023 and finished June 9, 2023. I wanted to finish before Festa. Last year's Festa really knocked me for six, and it made me pause writing the BTS 2026 series in the middle of Book 4, Black Swan, a prequel. I think I'm ready to return to it, now, remembering that it is a work of fiction, and it doesn't matter if my timeline matches every element of BTS 2.0
I want to say that Yoongi, as ever, has been the best muse anyone could ask for, and continues to be, and whatever his future holds, I will be there, cheering him on. I felt blessed to have met some of my moots at his concerts, and connected further to him through his artistry and showmanship. More stories will come.
