A Night To Never Forget

Soo Ah steps through the door to her hotel room, turning to bow quickly to Jongdae. He hands her a few small packages of the souvenirs she bought during their excursion out to the most famous tourist spots, and he steps back as though he will leave her and return to his room.

"Jongdae?" she stops him. "Will you take me to the party?" He looks at her a little confused.

"The event at Le Meurice?" He looks up as though he's thinking over his itinerary, trying to remember the details. Before he pulls out his phone to check, she nods.

"Yoongi will go straight to the party from the press meetings, and I want to meet up with him there, but, maybe it's best if I arrive first, you know, so the press will all be waiting for them to arrive, and will not pay attention to me," she explains as though she's used to this now. He nods a few times as he thinks and then he smiles.

"Yes, Soo Ah ssi, you are wise to plan it that way. What time should I come get you?" She smiles at him, happy he is going along with her plan.

"7:30?" I won't need much time to get ready." He nods to her and she bows to thank him before closing the door.

She sets her small bags down on the bureau across from her bed, and plugs in her phone, dead after taking too many selfies at all the places she'd visited that day. She immediately opens her closet to find the beautiful pink patterned dress that made Yoongi do a double take in Seoul. The dress that's practically see through and she knows that she will wear a beautiful bodysuit underneath. She didn't think she'd be able to wear this dress, since she couldn't go out to dinner with him in public, but in the privacy of this designer party, she's going to fit right in, wearing the appropriate costume, and maybe Yoongi, after not seeing her for a full day, will be happy to see her. She smiles to herself, her mind full of thoughts, and plans and hopes, as she walks into the bathroom to shower and get ready for the event.

Jongdae knocks for her, right on time, at exactly 7:30. She opens the door but seems to be in a little panic and he steps into the small room, blushing a bit as he sees a mess of clothing tossed all over the bed and the desk chair. He watches as she opens the drawers of the night stand.

"Did you lose something Miss- Soo Ah?" he corrects himself as he tries not to react to seeing her in a panic. She shakes her head, her softly curled hair bouncing.

"I know I had my locket, it was here, it was right here on the night stand. I was wearing it yesterday when I arrived." She squints as she replays her actions over the last day, wondering if she could have left it somewhere else.

"I can help you look, but, if we don't leave now, you will not arrive before the members," he explains, as he steps up behind her to try to help. She turns, and nods, understanding.

"It's OK, I will try to find it when I get back. I must have packed it again without thinking. I will just get my purse." She grabs her phone off the charger, and her small clutch and follows Jongdae out of the door.

As they step onto the elevator she turns her phone back on, and as the screen displays new messages she looks curiously at Yoongi's message as Jongdae presses the button for the lobby.

"Stop!" she says loudly, and Jongdae throws his arm in-between the closing doors, a little overly dramatic, and the door opens again.

"What is it?"

She rushes off of the elevator, lifting the tail of the dress and draping it over her arm so she can move faster. She rushes up to Yoongi's suite door, but realizing she doesn't have his key with her, she knocks. Jongdae steps up behind her curiously.

"What's happened?" he asks and she turns to him. "Do you have the key Jongdae, I need to see Yoongi, he messaged to say he was in the room," she looks concerned and Jongdae shakes his head, wondering if he brought the key with him.
