Sweet Night

Soo Ah sits on the long couch in Yoongi's suite. It's been almost an hour since she got back to the hotel, and she stopped streaming the live video when she parted ways with Jongdae in the hallway. He offered to let her keep his phone, but of course she knew he was just being polite. She said she would be happy to download the app and watch them from her own phone. Instead of doing that, she spent this time getting food ordered, preparing drinks, and worrying about how she looked or what she had on, almost as though it's a real date, like their first date. She looks down at the designer dress, the same one she had on when she called their dinner a "first date." She toys with her grandmothers necklace dangling just over her heart. Once again, she's sat on this couch wondering what comes next. Will tonight be different? Will they have a different connection now, without anyone else around?

It seems to her, after a whole night and half the day spent thinking about it, that he was nervous at the idea of being alone with her. After his members left them, he wasn't sure how to behave with her. He had been fine being alone with her previously, but, now, there has been a shift in the way he views her, and her role. She senses this, deeply. She knows there is more going on between them, and she knows he feels it too. She worried that he would try to deny it, and stick to the contract between them, but the fact that he sent for her, and he asked her to wait for him in the suite, means that tonight might just be different. Maybe she hoped that would be true, unconsciously, as she chose what to wear earlier, not realizing he would send for her, but hoping she would be able to see him.

She is wearing one of the lacy body suits, the one that makes her feel sexy and alluring, and she runs her finger along the fabric of the hem, tracing it over her breast. She didn't wear it for him, she had already put it on when she got his text, she had worn it for her, to make herself feel better, after feeling so low. But now she recognizes that it's going to change the way she feels being with him, holding him, if she gets to hold him, knowing how powerful she feels in this beautiful dress, with this very form fitting lace underneath. She feels the power of her own body.

A knock at the door startles her from her daydream. She isn't sure who would be knocking, the food was already delivered by room service staff and Jongdae wouldn't bother her now, unless it was something important. She gets up to look through the peep hole and is surprised to see Yoongi smiling at her as though he knows she's looking out at him. She giggles at the sight of him, and opens the door quickly. He turns around just as the door is opened and looks back at Jongdae's door. He seems to salut it, as though he's also aware Jongdae is watching him. She steps aside and allows him to walk past into his suite and he seems to float by her as though he's already had a few drinks, but probably just from the high of performing. He heads directly to the table. 

"Why did you knock?" she asks, watching him look over the food on offer. He swipes his finger across one dish, tasting something and nodding at it as though he's pleased.

"I never remember the code, so even if I have my key, which I don't, I can't get past the security code." She smiles at the confession and steps up beside him, wondering what to say next and suddenly feeling shy.

"I thought you might be hungry after the show." She explains the table set with too much food again. He grins at it, but doesn't make any move to sit down. He pauses too long, and she knows he's trying to decide what to say, but the pause makes her speak up, nervously, "But it's ok if you don't want to eat. You might not feel up to eating a meal this late." He turns towards her, recognizing she's nervous. He immediately looks down at her outfit, his eyes lingering on her form a bit too long, and he smiles.
