31 July: Privet Drive
Last month has been normal for Harry. Well as normal as it could be for the chosen one. When they first moved in and decided to say hi to their new 'neighbors', Petunia almost fainted seeing James Potter standing in front of them, living and breathing. They didn't even ask how he is alive they just threw the two out of their house and didn't like idea of them living in front if them.
Lily found it hilarious how scared Petunia looked when James introduced with 'Hi, you must remember me, James Potter. I just want to thank you for looking after my son all these years' the sarcasm was evident in his tone and few threats as he continued speaking which resulted in them being thrown out.
It is just another day in the Potter house only today is special. It's Harry's birthday and with James being around obviously there's going to be a party. The day started with over enthusiastic James Potter showering his son with birthday wishes, gifts and love.
In the evening he received a surprise visit from all his friends; the whole Weasley family except older three siblings, Amy, Hermione, Remus, his Godparents and Tonks. They sang songs, cut the cake Mrs. Weasley specially made for him and finally opened the gifts.
This year however Sirius could not buy any expensive or lots of gifts for his Godson like he always wanted as they are a little tight on money. Josette sold the house in the Lochant forest. A magizoologist brought it without second thoughts considering all the creatures he could save and breed that lived in the forest, also paid a fair amount for the house. Sirius sold all the useless antics at Grimmauld Place and now they enough money to get through a year. And now as Josette got her job back and Sirius is trying to find one, they think they can manage this.
After a while the Weasley couple left with Amy who obviously protested but in the end listened to her new guardians. The kids were staying for the night, along with the marauders and Tonks. They were sprawled across the living room, Harry, Lily, Ron, Ginny had taken up the couch. Hermione and Fred were now officially a couple, bit of a shock for everyone really, especially Ginny and George but they are happy for them. The couple sat on the ground, snuggling together and the other twin beside his brother, feeling a bit left out, rested his head on his brother's shoulder. Tonks sat in front of them, a cup of coffee in her hands, caffeine addiction runs in the Black family. Sirius and Josette shared an armchair and Remus was sitting down, back supporting another chair which was occupied by James.
"Remember the time when everybody thought Remus and Sirius were dating??" James asked as they were talking about their time at Hogwarts.
Tonks spit out the coffee, the tiny droplets flying all over the kids who sat in front of her. They groaned wiping their faces as the marauders laughed.
"One of the best memories of fourth year." Lily stated.
"Really??" Hermione asked.
"It's a funny story actually." Josette started "So, there was this little 'Sirius Black Fanclub'-"
