1 August: The Burrow.

"We should get married." Josette murmured softly. Her hands were intertwined with Sirius', and her head rested gently on his shoulder as they strolled along the river near the burrow. It was 7 o'clock in the morning, and they had decided to take a peaceful walk before the chaos of wedding preparations began.

Speaking of weddings, Josette couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy towards the young couple. Every girl dreams of her wedding day, and Josette was no exception. Yet, here she was, still unmarried after being in a relationship for about twenty years (on and off but stil 20 years) with the most handsome and caring boyfriend one could ask for.

Sirius chuckled, "Are you proposing?"

Josette stopped in her tracks and faced him directly. "Yes, I am."

"You're serious?" he blinked, his smile fading.

Josette summoned a simple silver band ring in her hand, It wasn't extravagant, but it held a special meaning. She slowly lowered herself onto one knee.

Sirius was left breathless.

"I don't have a speech like you did so, I will get straight to the point. Sirius Orion Black the third, will you marry me?" Josette's face lit up with the brightest grin.

Sirius knew he had to say yes. He wanted to say yes. However, he never imagined that his engagement would unfold in this manner. They had been avoiding taking the next step in their relationship because God knows it needed some work. They had come a long way since then. According to Sirius, finding your better half isn't about chance; it's about loving someone, growing together, and seamlessly fitting into each other's lives. And now, he believed they were the perfect puzzle pieces, ready for this commitment. "Yes, Merlin! YES!!" He bent down, lifting her up and spinning her around before gently placing her back on the ground and kissing her.

"I can't believe it," Josette giggled as she slid the ring onto his finger. Had she planned this beforehand? No. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision, and it had turned out wonderfully. Why complain? She was just as thrilled as she had been the first time.

"We are mad!" Sirius laughed, pulling her into another passionate kiss.

Their embrace was interrupted by a voice shouting "Congratulations!" They looked around and spotted Luna on the other side of the river, a short distance away. She held a bucket in one hand and a bunch of sunflowers in the other.

Josette waved and shouted back, "Thank you!"

"That's?"

"Luna Lovegood, Pandora's girl," Josette responded.  "Let's get back, I can't wait to tell the others."

"I have some questions for the three of you," Scrimgeour stated, "and I believe it would be most suitable to conduct them individually. If the two of you," he pointed at Harry and Hermione, "can wait upstairs, I will begin with Ronald."
