30 July: The Burrow.

Yesterday, a funeral was held for Moody at the Auror's family manor, where he was laid to rest beside his parents. Unfortunately, the children were not permitted to attend. The Ministry didn't know about any of it and Josette wanted to keep it that way so, she magically sealed the old house before leaving.

Josette shared the news of Moody finding peace. Everyone was happy for him, Tonks cried a lot and Harry was consumed with guilt. Harry began to question his decision to bring his friends along in the search for horcruxes. However, his Gryffindor companions quickly dismissed his doubts, while the Slytherin threatened to hand him over to Voldemort himself if he was left behind. Thus, the plan was reinstated.

The group now needed more information about R.A.B. to ensure that Regulus had indeed destroyed the horcrux. They decided to seek James for answers. Abandoning the tasks assigned to them by Molly, the four of them made their way downstairs.

James was tidying up the sitting room, rearranging furniture to thoroughly clean the space. Molly was out, and Sirius had fully recovered, assisting Arthur with a task in the shed. Bill had returned to work and he was unaware of the others activities. For the time being, the four students were alone in the house with him. So, it was an ideal time to have this talk without letting anyone know.

"Dad, can we ask you something?" Harry asked.

"Give me a hand first." James requested as he struggled to move the sofa.

"Mr. Potter, you are a wizard and you can use a wand." Draco remarked, wondering if all Potters were stupid. By what he is seeing, they might be.

"Call me James, please." James straightened his back, "And I don't use magic for simple things besides doing this manually is quite the workout."

Hermione agreed with him, she didn't like how wizards just whip their wand out for even the simplest of tasks like fetching a glass of water. It just makes everyone slothful.

"Dad, it's important, please." Harry emphasized.

Concerned, James abandoned his task and they all sat on the sofa, which was half-way between the kitchen and the sitting room. "What is it?" He inquired.

"Can you tell us about Regulus Black, Sirius' brother?" Harry asked.
"More specifically, how he died?" Draco added.

James was visibly taken aback by the question, as he had no idea that Harry was aware of Regulus. Furthermore, he was concerned as to why they suddenly had an interest in his death. Letting out a sigh, James inquired, "Is it important for whatever you are planning?"
