14 September: Quidditch pitch.

Josette never liked quidditch, that goes with the fact that she doesn’t like to fly. With Lev, it’s fine because she trusts him, but with a broom, you could fall to your death, and after surviving Voldemort, it seems like a pretty silly way to die. That makes Quidditch a death trap. Hermione has the same thoughts, but she will be here to support her friends. She just left Ron and Harry to go sit on the stands. She took a seat beside Josette, who was also present to see how the tryout goes.

"Hi." Hermione whispered, adjusting her scarf.

"Hello. So, how is sixth year so far?" Josette smiled.

"Oh... where should I start? Our free periods are taken up by homework. Teachers are expecting us to start performing wandless magic, even in defence against the dark arts. I am lagging behind in everything, especially potions, now that Harry has the Half-Blood Prince to his aid. I haven’t received a single letter from Fred. I am worried about my parents… and the moron is constantly hitting on me." Hermione glared at McLaggen, who was looking at her. She was panting by the time she finished her rant.

Josette let out a laugh. "Okay, take your free period between classes to relax; otherwise, you will wear yourself out. Do your homework during History of Magic, you know Binns doesn't teach anything, and on weekends, it’s not necessary to finish it right after it’s given. As for History of Magic, read it for an hour each night and you will be right on track."

"But I have reserved the weekends to practise wandless magic."

"Well, you won’t be doing homework all day now, will you?"

Hermione thought about what she said. This might be the perfect study plan, but have to give it a try to see if it will work. "Thanks. I think it might work."

"Oh, it does. This is Lily Evans plan. We all followed it." Josette chuckled at the memory of naming this plan after her friend.

Hermione smiled.

"Now, who is the half-blood Prince?"

"Someone’s book Harry found, it has different instructions from the actual book for all the potions, and now he is on top of the class."

"Cool."

"Cool?" Hermione shouted. "Why does everyone think it’s okay to cheat?"

"Come on, Hermione, it’s not cheating. He just got lucky." Josette said, seeming okay with it.

"Whatever." Hermione mumbled, looking back at the pitch where the trials for chasers had just finished. "Do you think Ron will make it? McLaggen is also trying for keeper, and I heard he is really good."

"The same guy who is troubling you?"

Hermione nodded

"You know what I would do? A good-old revenge prank." Josette winked at her.
