The Burrow.

"If you don't mind, I have a question and it's been nagging me for months," Hermione requested as she picked up another apple and started cutting it.

"Well, go on," Josette said, taking a sip of her red wine.

"Have some shame, Mor. The girls are working and there you are drinking." Sirius walked into the kitchen, all sweaty and covered in dirt from playing Quidditch.

"What are you, a saint? Giving me lessons on shame." Josette rolled her eyes. In her defense, she had just finished washing the dishes and was taking a little break while Molly was cooking and Ginny and Hermione were helping her.

"Saint Sirius, oh I like that, I am having that." Sirius smirked and left with a bottle of water in his hand.

"Piss off." Josette shouted after him.

"Well, go on then," she added, getting back to their previous conversation as soon as Sirius was out of sight.

"Yes, so, you are the Goddess of Death."

"Yeah."

"But you have healing powers. That's like the opposite of death, how come?"

"First of all, I am not death. I don't control how people die or when, unless I kill them myself-"

"Josette Hart-" Molly began.

"Sorry. My only purpose is to help the souls to the other side. I don't control them. Second, the healing powers are not mine. They are a gift from my grandmother. But she took them away on the king's orders because I was dating Sirius. But after she died, they came back to me."

"So your family didn't approve of Sirius?" Ginny asked.

"I never asked for their approval." Josette was quick with the reply.

"But you went against your family for Sirius, why? How did you know he was the one?”

Josette laughed. "I didn't. I always thought he would leave me. Sirius is a big flirt and a heartbreaker. I liked him the moment I saw him, don't tell him that, but I also knew how insensitive he was. Once he broke up with a girl because she snored."

"He doesn't sound nice." Hermione mumbled.

"And you still chose to be with him." Ginny added. "Why?"

"Like I said, I liked him the moment I saw him. I had to take the chance. Besides, some people are worth getting your heart broken for. And he is so, so worth it." Josette smiled.

"That's... That's true." Ginny whispered.

"Ginny dear? Are you in love?" Molly asked, judging by her expression and all the questions she had asked.

"I'm not sure. Is it love?" Ginny seemed more confused than them.

"Who is it?" Molly couldn't believe it. Her little Ginny had grown so much. She is in love. Next thing you know, she is marrying someone and will leave them forever. This is going way too fast for her. It's every parent's worst nightmare.
