Vera Alette's POV

"Sinisipon si Pochi," Lisa's pouting face welcomed my eyes when I opened the door. She was holding her Golden retriever puppy, she even kissed its forehead before turning her head toward me again.

"Do I look like a veterinarian to you?" My voice was filled with irritation when I asked her that. Paano ba naman kasi, it was only 7 in the morning for pete's sake. Hindi ko iniisip ang paggising nang maaga dahil wala kaming pasok pero dahil sakanya nagising ako ng ganto kaaga!

Hindi niya ako pinansin at dere-deretsong pumasok sa apartment ko, napakamot nalang ako sa ulo at iritadong lumingon sakanya.

"Why are you here this early? Did you plan this to bother my sleep or something?" Napahikab ako matapos siyang tanungin, she looked at me with amusement in her face.

"Papahigop ko yung sipon niya sayo," She then smiled which irked me even more, this woman knows how to push my buttons. This is not the first time she has done something like this, she will usually barge into my place when she and Andie get into a small fight, or when she just feels like doing it.

"You're such a disgusting person," I shook my head before walking toward the bathroom to wash my face.

Naririnig ko pa siyang nagsasalita sa labas pero hindi ko na iyon pinansin pa, I washed my face and gargled. Nang makalabas ako ay nakahiga na sa floor si Pochi at ang amo naman niya ay nakahilata na sa kama ko.

"What's your plan then?" I asked, dumiretso ako sa kusina at nagtimpla ng kape para sa aming dalawa. I know she has not eaten breakfast yet, hindi marunong magluto yan eh.

"May sched na kami sa animal clinic, papasama lang ako sayo," She answered. My brows met because of that.

"Why do I have to get involved in this whole thing?" I raised a brow at her, humalkahak naman siya at nagkibit balikat.

"Nag-away ba kayo ni Ands?" Tanong kong muli ngunit umiling ang babae, "Then what?"

"Busy siya! Kaya sayo nalang ako papasama!" She reasoned out, napasapo nalang ako sa noo at hinayaan nalang siya 'don. There's no way I could stop her from doing her plan o kung ano mang sinusubukan niyang gawin.

I cooked some bacon and toasted bread for the both of us, matapos 'non ay tinawag ko na rin siya para kumain.

"Pasama na rin bumili ng pagkain niya, malapit lang din naman yung pet shop doon," She uttered while chewing her food, I just nodded, not having the right amount energy to answer her.

I took a sip of my coffee as I stared at her as she eats her food, napatingin ako sa kape ko nang mapagtantong medyo mas mapait 'yun kaysa sa timpla na gusto ko, kailan ko ba matitimplahan ng tamang blend ang sarili ko? Ilang taon na ako dito pero hindi ko pa rin makuha kuha yung blend na gusto ko.

"Bakit parang papatayin mo na yang kape mo sa sobrang sama ng tingin mo diyan?" Lisa asked me, naka kunot ang noo niya habang nakatingin sa akin.
