Craig's POV
It's been a few weeks since Kyle and I got together; however, we haven't had our first date yet. We have been hanging out at each other houses more often than usual, hoping that our parents don't find that suspicious.....but those don't count, in my opinion.

"Penny, for your thoughts?"

Speaking of the devil.

"God, you must have run a marathon since you've been running in my mind all day." I retorted smugly, knowing Kyle couldn't stand cheesy pick-up lines.

The ginger rolled his eyes, "You must have a mind even to have thoughts."

"Guess I'm free of those thoughts of a monstrous beast in my empty head that I'll be able to sleep peacefully tonight. All that's left is to avoid you for the rest of the day." I responded.

"You're dating and kissing this so-called beast, so that attempt would be futile."

I shrugged, "I was hoping someday you turn into a beautiful prince, but I guess I was fucking wrong. "

He smirked, "That's because I need to kiss a beautiful damsel who loves me and not one who calls me monstrous."

This was typical usual banter that we went through once we had back home from school. Sometimes, things get... I'm gonna say.. tense, and sometimes, things get out of nowhere, but we enjoy it no matter how terrible or random. It was our typical conversation starter, especially when we wanted to open up about things.

"So, Craig, what's been on your mind?" Kyle asked.

"Have we ever gone out on a date? Like a real date?"

"Well, we do hang out at school and each other's homes, and we do take walks together. Do those count?"

"I don't think so... I'm not sure."

"I can't believe I'm saying this but Craig, you're thinking too much."

"Can we have one conservation where you don't comment on my thinking capabilities?"

Kyle's response to my rhetorical question was a chuckle. He then suggested,

"Look, if it helps to ease your simple troubled brain cell, let's go out on a date."

With that said, we arrived in front of Kyle's house in a blink of an eye. This time, I couldn't come over since I already had plans with the family (which is a shame).

"I'll take you out this Friday after school," I stated.

"Most boyfriends would ask, 'Hey Kyle, would you like to go on a date this Friday if you're available?"

"Well, there's something you should know about your boyfriend."

"Humor me."

"I'm a thief, and I usually take what I want and what I see valuable without asking."

With that, I kissed my blushing mess of a boyfriend and headed my way home with a massive grin on my face.

Friday arrived quicker than Cartman eating cheese puffs.

I waited outside at the Broflovski's front porch in my usual get-up. Kyle didn't want this date to be a big deal, overpriced or fancy, just a normal simple date. I agreed, receiving a punch after calling him your highness.

The door opened, revealing Mrs Broflovski herself.

"Oh, Craig. You're here early. Please come inside and wait. He's still getting ready."

"Thank you, Sheila."

Yes, we're on a first-name basis, besides being unaware that I'm dating her son.
