Craig's POV

As I entered the classroom, I caught people glancing and whispering to each other. They are really starting to get on my nerves. I wanted to yell,

Can't I have a break for once?

But all I did was roll my eyes and sat at my desk. I ignored the eyes that were staring at me and the whispers that were echoing the room all of a sudden.

This is what I hated the most. Being the centre of attention. Ever since the Tweek incident everyone kept staring at like I was the one who broke the relationship or that I was the one who messed up. Maybe it's my fault that he moved away? Maybe if I tried harder.....

I pushed all these thoughts away and began looking around the room to distract myself. I noticed something about the class today. Something was different. Something changed.

Firstly I looked at the empty and deserted desk beside me. I smiled since it was Tweek's desk. Wonder how he's doing in his new school.

Then I looked at my friends, Tolkien and Clyde, which were on the other side of the room. They were talking and laughing.

I couldn't help but notice how distant I became ever since the break up. How i ignored them even though they wanted to help me. Heck, I haven't talked to them after the break up. Man, I was such a jerk to them.

I don't think they'll ever forgive me for my actions. Besides who would forgive a guy who is supposed to be your friend, ignored you for a whole week...

My thoughts were interrupted when a certain green ushanka caught my eye.

Obviously it was Kyle but unfortunately he entered the classroom with Stan. They both were talking and smiling. This made me want to vomit.

Stupid Stan.

I kept my eye on them until suddenly I saw them both with shocked and surprised eyes.

That's where all the pieces came together. I knew there was something different about this class. It was because of one person who changed places with Kyle to sit next to Stan.

Of course, it was Wendy.

She was there seated comfortably until she noticed two different expressions. Stan was shocked and Kyle was both irritated and annoyed by Wendy's prescence.

"Oh, hey Stan and Kyle. So from your expressions I see you're surprised." Wendy said.

"Wendy, what is this?" Stan asked.

"Well, I was given permission to switch places with Kyle to focus more clearly on the lessons due to certain interruptions." Wendy said.

On that last word, she gave a glare at Cartman.

"And also I can get to spend more time with you Stan since we don't spend much time together." Wendy said.

"Oh yeah since you guys are so busy all the time." Kyle said with a point of sarcasm.

I couldn't help but chuckle.

"So I hope you understand the urgency of this matter." Wendy said.

"Oh yeah. It's probably going to change the world around you." Kyle said again with sarcasm.

"Kyle, you don't have to this." Stan said.

That's when Wendy interrupted,

"Obviously he has too. I already confirmed this with the teacher. Besides Kyle doesn't understand relationships. Heck, we never seen him in one, no offense. So as Stan's best friend, he is supposed to be supportive of our relationship even though he has no idea about relationships."

Then I see the change in Kyle's expression. From an angry and annoyed Kyle to a vulnerable and sad Kyle. He was lost at words.

Stan yelled "That's enough, Wen...."

But was interrupted by Kyle.

"Fine....Where's your place, Wendy?" He asked as he sighed in defeat.

"Next to Cartman." Wendy said.

"THERE'S NO WAY THAT JEW IS SITTING NEXT TO ME, YOU SLUT!" Cartman yelled.

Then an argument between Cartman and Wendy broke out. Stan sat next to Wendy and tried to make her calm her down.

Among the yells and insults, I glanced at Kyle with tears in his saddened emerald eyes.

He was lost.

He was unwanted.

He was all alone.

He was vulnerable.

I couldn't take it anymore. I stood up from my place and. walked to him. As I grabbed his hand, the argument stopped since everyone's focus was on me and Kyle.

"You can sit next to me." I said in a reassuring voice.

A sparkle of hope lit up his emerald eyes and he nodded.

I lead him to Tweek's desk still holding his hand.

"But this is..." Kyle objected.

"I know but someone's gotta keep that seat warm anyway. With that cute ass of yours, I'm sure it'll do nicely." I said.

Kyle blushed and punched me in the arm.

"Craig, what the fuck?!"

I laughed.

As he sat down at Tweek's desk, he let go of my hand. Kyle was still smiling at me when I sat at my desk.

"Thank you Craig. I really owe ya one." Kyle said.

"Hey, no problem. Besides I'm gonna need someone to keep focused in class and what better person who is temperamental and a stickler for rules than you." I said.

Kyle laughed and said, " True. Well at least you'll have someone to take care of a jackass like you."

Dramatically, I gasped and said, "Mr Brofvloski, you totally got me on that one."

"Don't you ever shut up for once?" Kyle asked.

"Well, I learnt from the best." I said.

He laughed again as I received another harder punch on my arm.

I didn't care if the punch was painful. Hearing Kyle's laughter was the best medicine.
