Things happen (Cryle)

Chapter 16

Kenny's POV

This was one of those days where I couldn't concentrate in class. Not because of depression or anything else like that but it was because......

I was busy internally laughing my ass off.

The reason was because of Kyle and Craig.

It was too good when I caught my best friend's shocked expression when he saw me pull that face.

It got better when he saw Kyle patting Craig's back like he was wishing him luck.

The best part I could feel Craig's anxiety from here eventhough he hid it perfectly.

Of course, I wasn't the only one who was enjoying this since Butters and I both were grinning mad.

It was too amusing and fun to mess with  them especially Craig.

Speaking of Craig, I had no problem with the dude. He never bothered me and was always respectful towards me at those rare moments when we meet mostly in detention.

That's where I found out.

You see for a troublemaker, I get detentions from a lot of teachers thanks to my glorious pranks which is where I meet Craig.

Apparently, he's been getting into detention a lot more than he used to ever since Tweek moved out of town.

Of course, I couldn't cheer him up thanks to the annoying ass Maths teacher who kept scolding us with her annoying voice everytime we make an ounce of sound.

Instead I watched Craig who had his dull eyes, putting his chin on his arms staring into nothing. He was like a broken doll with no soul.

He was silently suffering........ just like a certain ginger I knew.

Unlike Kyle who knew to approach anyone, I had no idea of how to help out Craig so I wondered if Kyle might help him.

That thought was immediately pushed aside as the Maths Teacher annoyingly yelled at me for letting out a fart.

Hey, it was killing me. Better out than in as they always say.

Anyway, I noted that something happened as Craig suddenly stopped getting into detention.

Thanks to my sudden curiosity, I regrettably did not to do anything to get into detention for a day and decided to wait outside school waiting for the bus. This was because to see why Craig suddenly stopped taking detentions.

I'm glad that Butters was sick today or else he would thought that I had a mental illness due to the fact I didn't do any pranks or trouble today. It was hell.

Apparently, I wasn't the only who was waiting for the bus since there was Stan and Cartman waiting along side me. I secretly put on a face of disgust that was hidden under my orange hood.

To my surprise, Kyle appeared who seemed to be in a good mood with his eyes filled with light.

Apparently, I wasn't the only one surprised as I noted Stan staring at him. As for Cartman, he did not give a fuck. Why am I not suprised?

Moving on...

The ginger stood next to me which made me confused so I asked,

"Hey Kyle, don't you usually go by foot to your house rather than take the bus? Did something happen?"

"Nah. I'm just waiting for someone who'll be joining me on my walk." Kyle answered.

Then he whispered to me,

"You're not the only one surprised, you know. How the heck did you not get detention today? Are you really that worried for Butters that you leave school early to visit him?"

Thank God for Kyle's ability for privacy but fuck, he's too good at reading people.

"Let's go with that." I admitted hiding my true intentions.

Kyle did not indulge further to which I humbly appreciated. Then I noted that his green eyes were focused on something else.

I, myself, again grew curious so I decided to find out where he was looking at.

To my amusement, it was who he was looking at.

I grew amused as the person was Craig Tucker who looked better than he was back at detention.

Ignoring Cartman's annoying taunts, I was too pleased with the situation.

Heck, I just discovered that I was Fucking Psychic since I literally predicted this happening.

What amused me more was how Craig threatened Stan. His protective instinct over Kyle was just like mine over Butters. It was fucking too adorable to watch that made me laugh hysterically.

I am going to enjoy this way too much but what troubled me was Stan.

Evemthough he didn't show it, I could tell he is a bit annoyed the fact that Kyle and Craig were walking him together.

There was no way I'm gonna let that bastard fuck up Kyle's happiness even after everything he's been through because of him eventhough Stan did not know it.

After that day, Butters (because I informed him) and I kept our eyes on the two of them and literally became a secret fan club.

We couldn't help but smile as those two got along on their friendly banters. Heck even in class they were a riot as I noted Craig messing with Kyle by throwing paper at him and Kyle smacking him on his head to his amusement whenever Craig almost falls asleep.

He was certain that lunch time will be very interesting.
