Hubris: Volume 2

Chapter 29: A Potential Suspect!

The scene starts with the four getting closer to the front of the stage. As they did so, another familiar face recognised them and called out to them.

Sophia: "Is that...Zeldris?! What's the king of the school doing here?"

The four of them looked over, Tabitha and Phoebe gave a slight wave before they stepped over. Sophia quickly talked to the security guard to let them up come up to the back of the stage. Zeldris couldn't believe they both had made it big.

Sophia: "This couldn't of been done without you."

Zeldris: "What? I didn't do anything."

Sophia: "You didn't forget again...did you?..."

Zeldris froze for a moment. Sophia balled her fist growling lowly.

Sophia: "You helped us when our club was about to be shut down, dumbass. We got to practice more and post some of our songs online, some guys noticed us and here we are. Playing in New York."

Phoebe: "Wow, congratulations!"

Tabitha: "You two have a lot of musical talent, I'm not surprised you two got a deal."

Sophia: "We couldn't of done it without the king of the schools help, me and Ada are grateful."

Zeldris: "It's nothing, don't mention it."

Sophia: "So...what are you all doing here?"

Phoebe: "I'm here out with my mum to help her model for the New York magazine. She's just on break so I thought I'd look around New York."

Zeldris: "I'm trying to find a clue about a guy I'm looking for."

Tabitha: "I was invited by Zeldris."

Sophia internally sweat-dropped.

Sophia: "So none of you are here for vacation?..."

All 3: "No."

Suddenly from the right side, Ada was heard from the stage.

Ada: "I can't believe my eyes, is that the king of the school?"

All of them looked over. Sophia nodded before gently pushing Zeldris toward centre stage.

Zeldris: "Hey, what are you doing?!"

Sophia: "Go on king, the future queen of music is inviting you on stage."

Tab/Phoebe: "Go!"

Zeldris stumbled onto the stage. He had a sigh before making his way over to Avada. Ada had a small smile before saying.

Ada: "I'd like a few cheers from all of you. It's thanks to him, we're even allowed to play a few songs to all of you!"

The crowd went wild cheering. Zeldris shook his head before raising his fist up in the air to acknowledge all of them, he then lowered his arm before looking at Avada.

Ada: "I love all of you! Thank you for coming out, you guys are the best!"

More cheers was heard before Zeldris and Avada walked off stage. When the two walked back to everyone else, Zeldris had a couple questions.

Zeldris: "Alright, not to rain on your guys parade. I want to ask a few questions."

Ada/Sophia: "Hm?"

Zeldris: "Have you guys seen anyone suspicious? I figured since you're both music stars, you'd notice a lot of strange characters."

Sophia: "Well..we have our fair share of stalkers, but that's normal for us performers. Though there is a man that seems so out of character when it comes to Ada, even to the point Ada can't go out past a certain time."
