Chapter 37: The Grand Parade!

The scene opens with loud bright fireworks, as the fireworks whistled into the air and exploded. The fireworks decorated the night sky resonating with the beautiful natural celestial lights in the sky. Loud cheers were heard as music was blaring in the background, sounds of drums and stamping feet paraded the street as each float went by. The smells of delectable food filled the air as stalls opened up their prized snacks..it was pure utter bliss. Camilla waved to the crowds as she showed off her float and business, Phoebe cheered watching the crowd.

On a radio earpiece a certain voice was heard.

Zeldris: "Phoebe, what's going on out there?"

Phoebe placed her index finger on the ear piece before saying.

Phoebe: "Nothing yet Zelly! It's just a big crowd and beautiful lights."

Zeldris: "Do you have eyes on Venator?"

Phoebe: "No!..we've almost been around the block and I haven't seen anything yet."

Zeldris: "Alright."

Zeldris hung up before he looked over at Tabitha and Cosmo. Cosmo was licking his lips due to the fact he could smell the delicious food.

Cosmo: "Master, Master! I want to taste the yummy food!"

Zeldris: "After we deal with this freak, we'll get you something. Now isn't the time for that."

Cosmo pouted but Zeldris gently petted his head.

Tabitha: "Venator is very crafty, I doubt he came alone..especially if he wants to guard Ada. Zeldris are you sure we can do this?"

Zeldris: "Absolutely not."

Tabitha: "Eh?! That was too fast!"

Zeldris: "But all I know is, I will get my answer. Dead or alive from that bastard."

Tabitha fell silent before folding her arms.

Tabitha: "Let's hope everything will be okay..I'd hate to imagine what father would say."

Zeldris had a slight shiver imagining his reaction before shaking his head.

Zeldris: "Let's not."

Suddenly a burst of laughter was heard from a certain evil scientist. He cackled as he outstretched his arms.

Venator: "FEAST YOUR EYES ON MY GRAND FLOAT. IT CONTAINS A BRAND NEW INVENTION THAT WOULD ABSOLUTELY BRING ABOUT A NEW ORDER. I CALL THIS, THE SOUL QUEEN."

Phoebe cut her eyes before flicking on her ear piece.

Phoebe: "Zelly!"

Zeldris stood up within the float, he then looked at the two before cracking his knuckles..it's almost time.

Camilla: "That man, he's a bit of a show off isn't he?"

Phoebe: "Mum, that man looks like bad news."

The scientist pulled the tarp off of his machine to unveil his twisted machine. Avada was strung up in the middle and what seemed to be neon speakers were around to cover her. Venator flicked the switch and a loud scream from Avada was heard, her scream echoed throughout the city..but instead of scaring the crowd, it invigorated them. They all started to dance and would beg for more of the twisted sound.

Venator: "BAHAHAGAGA YOU WANT AN ENCORE?!"

Zeldris cut his eyes before he activated his curse to cover his body in armour..it was a half moon tonight. His body was covered in plated pads, his torso had light plates all around as Zeldris had a metal helmet but the left side was slit slightly revealing a naked eye. An emblem of a half moon lit up from within his chest, his dark black pupils flashed a bright white before changing back to black. Tabitha stood up, she dusted her skirt before folding her arms. Cosmo got on all fours before standing up straight and licking the back of his hand, the ginger cat then got into a combat stance.

Zeldris: "Camilla will be pissed when we destroy her float."

Tabitha giggled before saying.

Tabitha: "Since when did you care about someone else's temper?"

Zeldris scoffed.

Zeldris: "Good point."

Zeldris pulled his fist back before jumping forward and smashing apart the float. As he jumped out, the crowd went silent. Tabitha and Cosmo jumped out behind him falling down to the street..it was covered in confetti.

Venator: "What?! You Brats actually came?! After destroying most my androids?! The nerve!"

Camilla: "EH?! My float!! My beautiful precious float! What were you all doing in there?!"

Zeldris: "My bad Camilla, but I'm getting rid of that prick over there."

Zeldris replied before pointing at Venator. Venator had a cocky smirk before he went behind the speakers. As Avada heard the voice of the group called out.

Ada: "All of you stay away! I never asked any of you to rescue me..you don't understand the strength of this man..how twisted he really is. Please..just let m-"

Zeldris inhaled before calling out.

Zeldris: "What a load of bullshit! Who the hell would want to be in that situation?! You must be a masochist or some shit. Even if you refuse to be free, I still gotta get answers from that freak. It's your choice if you want to stay in there after I take out Bill Nye over there."

Tabitha: "Zeldris!"

Zeldris: "Ugh..nevermind, you're not allowed to decide that. I'm freeing you, so you and Sophia can hang out or whatever."

Ada: "King..of the school..please."

Venator: "My my, how very touching. However, it is far too late. Your friend here has fully powered up my machine, I will snuff out the flame of hope you all hold dear. Especially you brat. The answers you seek will forever be out of your reach."

Zeldris: "Shut up."

Zeldris cracked his knuckles, Tabitha had a small smirk as she folded her arms and stood beside him. Cosmo transformed into his beast form before growling lowly. The scientist hit the switch on the back of a speaker, suddenly..the float began to shift. The float then transformed into a robot that was 15 metres tall. Avada was in the heart of the robot, the glass was transparent and everyone could see her strung up.

Venator: "Try me!"

Zeldris gritted his teeth as he stood in front of the robot. Venator manoeuvred his robot around before he pressed a button that opened up the side compartment, suddenly androids flew out and descended on the people below.

Zeldris: "Phoebe!"

Phoebe nodded before jumping down off the float. Camilla called out to her daughter but Phoebe waved at her energetically before summoning a sunflower.

Phoebe: "Sunflower beam!"

Suddenly the sunflower was illuminated by a yellow light. The androids were destroyed but now they were focused on those with curses. Cosmo charges forward slashing at them, but the androids dodged him swiftly, they then kicked him in the back which sent him crashing down to the ground. Tabitha raised both her hands before swiftly dashing around them.

Tabitha: "Shadow dance!"

As she chanted her attack, a dark aura surrounded the androids..they then were split apart and began to spark as their internal circuitry was exposed.

Cosmo: "Thank....you."

Cosmo said in his deep beast like voice.

Tabitha looked at him with a smirk before nodding.

Zeldris: "Not bad you two. That just leaves Ve-"

The scientist grinned...the androids began to repair themselves before getting up. They were stronger..and much faster than before and they surrounded the group. Zeldris stared forward before engulfing both his hands in a white luminous aura.

Venator: "You see..they are no longer prototypes..they are every bit of a human just like you all BAHAHAHAGA."

Zeldris: "I'm starting to hate that laugh."
