Chapter 42: The City Of Dreams

The scene opens with loud fireworks and confetti descending down from the heavens and onto the thousands of people below. Scenes flashed by of Cosmo eating, along with Avada playing a song from her guitar, Tabitha was with Cosmo looking at clothes and Phoebe was with Camilla laughing. Zeldris was currently sitting away from the lively party on his own, he looked at everyone having a moment to himself to relax. Suddenly his phone went off, he placed his hand into his pocket before taking it out to pick up.

Zeldris: "Hello?"

???: "Is that how you greet your mother after so long?!"

Zeldris: "Oh, hey mum."

???: "That's still not good enough! I've been worried sick."

Zeldris: "It's only been two days."

???: "So? Anyway, I'm so proud of you!"

Zeldris: "Why?.."

???: "You're on the news, that and you're in newspapers too! I've been showing off my darling boy to many people at work! They say my son is a hero."

Zeldris: "Wait seriously?!"

???: "Mhm! I'm just glad to see you're okay Zeldris, please check in and reassure your mother!"

Zeldris: "Fine, see you later mum."

???: "Oh, one more thing!"

Zeldris: "Hm?"

???: "Tabitha's father came over earlier, he told me to inform you of a message."

Zeldris went cold..fear ran down his spine as he began to shiver.

Zeldris: "What..did he say?"

???: "He said to tell you that it's a code 2334678, I have no idea what that means but I'm sure it's something wonderful!"

Zeldris was at a loss for words..as he heard those words he couldn't help but internally freak out. His mother asked over and over if he was still there before hanging up.

Zeldris: "Oh...shit."

From the distance, footsteps were heard. Zeldris looked over his shoulder to see a certain woman walk up to him. Zeldris let out a slight huff before staring forward.

Sophia: "Aren't you going to join in on the party king of the school?"

Zeldris: "No, I'm not the social type."

Sophia: "I can tell..I just wanted to thank you for saving Ada, she means the world to me..and you kept your promise."

Zeldris: "It's nothing."

Sophia cut his eyes before balling her right fist.

Sophia: "But it is something! You've helped us out so much now..at school..and in New York. They maybe small things to you, but to us they mean so much. We really couldn't of come this far without you..so from the bottom of my heart, I thank you dearly king of the school."

Zeldris: "Ugh..do me a favour, you can drop that title. Just call me Zeldris. Really it's nothing, I wanted to stop that bastard anyways. Don't worry about favours or any of that crap okay? I'll bail you guys out, as I always have."

Imaginary flames appeared around Sophia, she grabbed the shirt of Zeldris before pulling him close.

Sophia: "It was Ada's choice to go with you and I'm only not causing a fuss because it's her choice and you're in my good books, but if I hear Ada gets hurt or lost or anything like that, you don't ever want to find out what will happen to you."

Sophia had quite the petrifying expression..an expression that would send shivers down your spine. Zeldris was unfazed, he sighed before saying.

Zeldris: "Don't worry, you'll get your Kpop band back together."
