Chapter 38: Horrifying Creations!

The scene opens with Zeldris and his allies being surrounded by the androids that were once destroyed. Zeldris gritted his teeth before he allowed his curse to flow into the palms of both his hands. Tabitha stepped back before saying.

Tabitha: "Let me handle them, Zeldris."

Zeldris: "No, you'll just waste all your energy. The only way I see us getting out of this, is by taking out that giant ass robot and forcing that bastard to turn them off."

Cosmo: "Mas...ter...they...are...moving.."

Phoebe: "Zelly, some of them are going for the crowd!"

Zeldris: "Shit!"

Some of the androids began to tear down parade floats and target some of the citizens. News reporters had recorded everything that was currently going on, mass screams that pierced the ears..sounds of thousands of feet rushing around.

Tabitha: "Zeldris, what should we do?!"

Zeldris grumbled lowly..he cut his eyes before saying.

Zeldris: "Right, Tabitha and Phoebe. You two guard the citizens and intercept the androids. Do not let them kill anyone!"

Tabi/Phoebe: "Okay!"

Zeldris: "Cosmo. Me and you will fight that mad bastard in the mech and focus on freeing Ada."

Cosmo nodded with a grunt before going on all fours.

Zeldris: "Move out!"

As Zeldris called that out, everyone began to rush around to their stations. Zeldris ran toward the large mech, Venator let out a chuckle as he moved the robot forward to crush Zeldris. Zeldris raised his hand up before calling out.

Zeldris: "White wall!"

As he chanted that, a luminous white wall was erected from the ground stopping the robot from stepping down on the two. Cosmo dashed forward before clawing at the leg of the mech, sparks flew around but not even a scratch could be seen.

Venator: "Vermin."

As the scientist had said that..Ada let out a scream and a burst of energy sent them back. Cosmo and Zeldris had ringing in their ears.

Zeldris: "Fuck! What the hell was that?!"

Cosmo was collapsed out on the ground but he slowly got up he grumbled lowly before dashing forward once again at the robot.

Zeldris: "Cosmo, wait damn it!"

As Cosmo got closer to the robot, Venator leaned the mech forward and the robots stomach area opened up to reveal a large speaker. Lights began to power up around it, Cosmo looked up at it before jumping up to claw at it.

Venator: "Die furball!!! GRAND OPENING!!"

Zeldris held his hand out before chanting.

Zeldris: "Night shroud!"

Fortunately for Cosmo, a black barrier with stars and a mini moon to symbolise a night sky was erected around Cosmo protecting him. As the barrier was erected around him, a loud sharp sound was emitted from the speaker which sent the bubble flying in the air before it bursted. As it was destroyed, Cosmo was seen flying through the air in his human form. His eyes were completely white and lost colour, blood was leaking from his mouth and head as he landed in front of Zeldris.

Zeldris: "Cosmo!!!"

Unfortunately..there was no answer from him, he was currently unconscious. The scene then focused on Tabitha and Phoebe.

Tabitha: "Listen everyone! You all need to evacuate!! Be mindful and don't trample on each other."

Phoebe was currently using her flowers on the ground to guide the civilians in the opposite direction of the battlefield. Phoebe then turned around to face the androids before placing her hand into the ground. The ground began to glow a lime green and vines sprouted from the ground, as they sprouted from the ground, the vines wrapped around and few of the androids before twisting and destroying a few of them.

Phoebe: "Love binding!"

As Phoebe let out her chant, Tabitha raced from behind before raising both her arms in the air.

Tabitha: "Shadow scythe!!"

As she had chanted her attack, a jet black ominous scythe was summoned into her hands. Tabitha then slashed horizontally with it slashing the bottom of the large vines and the androids. The androids were split in half but immediately began to repair themselves. Tabitha's shadow scythe disappeared, Phoebe walked up beside Tabitha before placing her hand on the ground in front of her head. Suddenly a sunflower sprouted from the ground, Phoebe pointed forward toward the androids before chanting.

Phoebe: "Sunflower beam!"

The sunflowers petals began to glow before a bright yellow light was expelled from the middle which eradicated the androids. Phoebe had a wide grin.

Phoebe: "Zelly will be so proud of me!"

Tabitha crossed her arms before saying lowly.

Tabitha: "Will he?..They keep getting up and I'm getting tired. I just awakened my powers..I haven't had a moment to train my endurance."

Phoebe: "We can't stop yet! There's still so many and we're supposed to hold them off for Zelly and Cosmo!"

Tabitha: "I know, but at this rate we'll be overrun..if they just keep getting back up."

Suddenly one of the androids kicked Tabitha in the back sending her forward slightly. Phoebe gasped before using the sunflower to smack it back causing it to be stunned. Tabitha got back up but she was kicked right into the crowd of androids, she began to fight clashing with a few of them but they were too many..she was attacked from all sides which caused her to sustain so many injuries. Tabitha let out a scream as she crumbled to the ground. Phoebe gritted her teeth before pressing her hand into the ground to summon more vines..but only a small one came up from the ground which was just enough to assist Tabitha. Phoebe pulled her out from the swarming Androids..but what good would that do? Phoebe was out of energy and she was out of breath..Tabitha was currently trying not to lose consciousness, her clothes were ripped slightly due to the pulling of the androids. The androids surrounded the two girls and Phoebe was panicking..she had to fight to protect her friend.

The scene changed back to Zeldris and Cosmo. Zeldris looked down at Cosmo, he balled his fists before looking over at the mad scientist. A white aura began to surround him as he felt his blood boil slightly.

Zeldris: "He's still alive.."

Zeldris dashed toward the robot, he jumped up before throwing his right hand forward.

Zeldris: "Moon ray!"

As Zeldris chanted his attack, a bright white beam was expelled from his hand and down to the robot below..but it did nothing.

Zeldris: "What..don't tell me it's immune to my attacks?!"

Venator: "WAHAHAHAHAHA it appears you're not a total fool. Behold another great part of my creation, the metal. It's impervious to ALL matters of heat and gamma rays. Which means your attacks are futile."

Zeldris grumbled lowly, as he was about to land the robot moved it's fist and punched Zeldris..which shattered his moon armour slightly. Zeldris coughed blood as he twirled in the air from the shock, he dropped onto the ground..but he slowly sat up.

Ada: "No...leave them alone.."

Venator: "WAHAHAHAHAGA. Did you really think opening your mouth would help? I am to eradicate these vermin..but before total annihilation, I will play with my test subjects."

Ada tried to struggle in her restraints..but it was no use, the chains rattled ominously as she swayed side to side. The scientist got up before back handing her.

Venator: "Stop struggling you fool! You will mess up my grand design."

Ada fell silent..she looked to the right to see Venator sitting back down. Ada saw Phoebe and Tabitha fighting for the lives..she then looked over to see Zeldris placing down Cosmo away from the battle.

Zeldris: "Rest..I'll do whatever it takes to get my answer."
