Chapter 41: Unbroken Promise

The scene starts with Zeldris and his allies all together, Cosmo walked up beside Zeldris along with Phoebe and Tabitha. The night lights of the city began to dim as the sun began to rise and shine it's beautiful radiant light upon the earth. Times Square was slightly destroyed, immediately the authorities rushed to the scene followed by the press..if Zeldris was to get his answers, he'd have to be swift. Zeldris raised his foot before kicking the mad scientist awake, the mad scientist had a few pants due to being out of breath. He then looked up at the heroes before scoffing.

Venator: "Just because you've bested me..does not mean it's over, there will be more people..secret organisations that will try to complete what I had started."

Zeldris rolled his eyes before grabbing his collar and raising him up slightly, he cut his eyes at him before saying lowly.

Zeldris: "I could care less. What you're going to do is give me answers about the murder of the girl, that was committed back in England."

Venator: "Murder of a girl?..you'll have to be more specific, I've killed m-"

Zeldris growled lowly before punching him. Venator's head bobbed slightly from the punch, he then chuckled slightly before saying.

Venator: "Wahahahs..you must mean her..yes, if you wish to uncover the mystery you've got a lot to do. There are many contacts out there..and I will not reveal any of them WAHAGAHSHA."

Suddenly from below a grenade rolled down toward the groups feet. Zeldris's pupils shrank before he jumped back away from it, a bright white flash engulfed the area causing everyone to be blinded temporarily.

Zeldris couldn't see a thing but he heard a voice.

Tabitha: "He's getting away!"

Suddenly from a helicopter above, two men in jet black suits dropped down on a ladder and picked up Venator before flying off. Zeldris got his sight back, as he saw the scientist fly off..a ominous purple aura surrounded Zeldris.

Zeldris: "No...where...do..you think you're going?"

He said ominously, Zeldris stepped forward slightly his anger began to boil but he felt the soft touch of his ally on his shoulder which calmed him down. The aura began to suppress and Zeldris was back to normal.

Tabitha: "We survived Zeldris, there's no need to exert anymore energy or resources. We'll have to get your answers in another way."

Phoebe: "Yeah! As long as we're alive we'll always have more chances."

Cosmo nodded before bunting Zeldris's arm as a sign of affection in cat language. Zeldris shook his head before sighing, he then tucked his hands into his pockets. Zeldris looked at the two girls before cutting his eyes at them.

Zeldris: "You two should go change, your clothes are ripped."

Ada: "Indeed..it's quite un-lady like."

Phoebe and Tabitha had a slight blush before covering themselves. Ace walked up to the group, everyone except Ada and Zeldris got into a battle stance.

Ace: "Woah, hey now. I ain't a bad guy, I just came here to repay my debt. That's all."

Zeldris: "What do you mean?"

Ace walked up to Zeldris before holding out a piece of paper to him.

Ace: "While I was workin' for the mad guy, I found documents with long numbers. Maybe they'll be of use to ya, I doubt they lead to treasure or somethin' "

Avada: "Wait a minute..those are coordinates. Off the top of my head, I know where some of them lead. When I was on tour with Sophia, we learned quite a few places."
