"Try again." was Midnight's quick reply
The entire class burst into laughter.

The list for internships had arrived ,with Izanami getting the 3rd highest offers.
The blonde had been questioned by a few of her classmates about the fainting situation but she assured them it was just dehydration and exhaustion combined. Surprisingly, they believed it and the matter ended there.
Well, except for a few.
"Make sure to decide on your internships and submit the application by the end of the day" Aizawa sensei drowsily announced, before leaving the class.
Izanami had looked through the offers and was surprised to see Endeavour's agency on the list. It seemed to be on the top of her choices because even thought the man was to be insufferable, he was still at the top for a reason.
She quickly glanced at the heterochromatic boy, knowing he'd received it too- no shit;
but she was unsure whether he would intern with his father because of, well, his issues with his father.
Then although uncharacteristically, she wondered how he'd react to his father offering her an internship.
The girl figured it would be the best to let him know.
Anyways she decided to keep two other agencies as backups and continued on with her work
At lunch, Izanami somehow ended up sitting with Midoriya's group. The conversation mainly being carried out by him and Uraraka.
Todoroki was here too, Apparently over the 'not here to make friends' attitude.
But what Izanami was concerned about was the very dear class rep of theirs,
"Chief, you good?" she questioned, lowering her voice so the rest couldn't hear.
She knew of what happened with his brother, and was aware that no way in hell Iida couldn't be hurting right now. Throughout middle school he had made a point for everything to know how much he loved and admired his elder brother.
And watching him all docile and quite, instead of karate chopping the air like a robot was unsettling for her.
"Yes, Izanami-san. Why wouldn't I be?" he assured, with a soft smile.
The girl nodded, taking it as a cue to not pry further.
"If you need anything, we're here chief," she said before patting his shoulder once and getting up to leave.
"Oh, yeah- Todoroki,"
The said teen looking up from his soba to acknowledge her for her to continue,
"Wait after class for a bit. I need to discuss something."
He nodded in response, and the blonde was of her way.
Izanami had to meet up with Hatsume today.
During the sports festival the girl had noted some changes she'd like in her costume.
The meet up went way longer than anticipated, Hatsume was one energetic being. But she was also excellent in what she was doing and absolutely loved it, so Izanami liked the girl .
On returning to class, Midnight was already standing at the podium and informed that everyone had to come up with some Hero Name.
"Uravity." Uraraka went up first and stated, followed by a couple of others
Izanami had started later than the rest and was still pondering. Or not. She couldn't really concentrate.
Bakugo had been rejected a number of times, and with each time Izanami's chuckles were getting louder and louder.
"INSTEAD OF JUST LAUGHING HOW ABOUT YOU GO UP AND SHOW YOURS METAL BITCH"
"Alright, King Explosion Murder" she mocked still muffling her laughter , doing a sprinkle movement with her fingers to him and got up.
"The Metal hero: Metallica"

The Pro hero gave her approval and the girl just smirked at bakugo, at
"tch"
The rest of the class followed and soon enough everyone was done, with a few like peppermint choosing their own names
When the last bell rang, he approached her
"Did my old man offer you an internship?"
The blonde's eyes widened, surprised that he knew why she asked him to wait back
"Yes, how did you know that?"
"You're weird with your staring."
Bitch.
"And then you suddenly asked me to stay back, so i guessed it was that" he shrugged, before continuing
"Are you taking it?"
"Yes? maybe, i'm not sure. I'm thinking about it. I have a few good ones as well buy endeavour seems the best. 2nd ranked and all that,"
Todoroki noded,
"Although he does seem insufferable and a massive pain in the ass." she then added
Todoroki scoffed at that,
"He is." and agreed without missing a beat,
"Well then, I figured I'd confirm with you since I'd rather you not throw a whiny ass tantrum if we intern at the same place and making sure you're cool with it. Are you?"
"Why would I be? I'm not one to make your decision," he said, though Todoroki did appreciate her informing him.
Turning around, he made his way to leave
"But I assure you, I won't throw a 'whiny ass tantrum' if you do decide to intern there" he finished.
And Izanami's decision was then made final.
