Prologue~ Princess

Todoroki Shoto and Izanami Ryoko first met during the recommendation exams and to say their opinions of each other wasn't the greatest would be an understatement.

Izanami's eye twitched as she grit her teeth to keep calm in the absurd situation that she had no intention to partake in.

The girl got the gist of it, alright.

Endeavour, the father of mr.candycane was a downright asshole and mr.energy ball wasn't particularly fond of him or his son either.

She'd unintentionally overheard their conversation but shrugged it off,

Because the actual fuck did that have anything to do with her?

Nevermind that, because these two blockheads had managed to rope her poor self into their petty argument and to say she was pissed would be an understatement.

For nearly every round of the practical examinations,which they had a total of 18 the two had gotten her more involved in it.

"So you're taking his side?" candycane asked, sounding rather offended, while still glaring at the guy across him.

"Huh? when did I say that?"

"So you're on the side of that brat? " energy ball pressed, returning his glare.

"Whose side are you on? Say it once and for all." The former demanded

"Clearly on mine, she looks smart."

"Then that wouldn't be the case, you cheapstake tornado-"

"What did you say? you bas-"

Ah, fuck basic etiquettes, they lack it anyways.

Izanami thought, before raising both hands and snapping her fingers, once on each.

Confusion dawned on the faces of the two boys when their voices weren't audible anymore.

Then as soon as they realised that their lips are both zipped shut, quite literally zipped;

Izanami place her hands on their backs, creating a fairly large metal hand grabbing them. She then flicked her wrists,effectively throwing the two in opposite directions and walking off.

Annoying Dipshits.

Results: a few weeks later

Unlike those who gave entrance exams on their own, The recommended students had to personally come to check their results and it so happened to be the luck of the two, they met again.

"It's rather rude to throw people, unless in a fight" Todoroki started, coldly when he noticed the blonde.

Izanami side eyed the guy next to her, "It's rather rude to get unfortunate bystanders involved in a fight, let alone a petty argument." she retorted with the same coldness coating her words.

"It wasn't petty-" Todoroki went to defend himself,

"Sure it wasn't" She replied sarcastically, narrowing her eyes at him

"It wasn't" he stated again, now more firmly.

Todoroki didn't know why, but he felt a strong urge to prove that it hadn't been just a petty argument to this random, rude, strange girl.

"You may have or may not have noticed but Endeavour, he's my father. He-"

"He's a bitch." She completed or rather, summarized with a plain look on her face

Noticing the odd look the boy was giving, she rolled her eyes "What? You weren't really quite with your backstory there, peppermint"

Realisation dawned on him, clearing his features before morphing them again, however not at the nickname the girl gave him but rather on-

"And you still took his side?" He glared at her,

How could she phrase it as a petty argument if she knew the context already? And how could she still take that cheap tornadoes side?

Was she stupid?

Izanami sighed.

She hadn't taken either of their sides but apparently that was beyond the comprehension of the two idiots .

"No one cares about your backstory, " she started, before continuing, a mischievous glint in her eyes,

"Not unless you're a princess"

Todoroki ticked at that nickname, if the scowl on his face was any indication

And the blonde smirked, taking it as a win.

Also yes, might seem like a petty reason for dislike but this the emo shoto we talking about ~_~

The book's a slow burn (i don't get how his character even has the ability to fall in love within 5chps; no shade) .

not really a hate to love but the banter will be good so <3
