Chp 14~ Hosu

The two teens followed behind endeavour, simultaneously helping people and taking in the chaos.

There were people panicking and rushing and screaming. There was debris all over and a couple of buildings had a chunk of it collapsed on the ground.

The number of casualties were unknown.

What the fuck happened here?

Izanami saw Todoroki mutter something to his father and the pro hero looked as if he was about to disagree or reprimand him for what he said but just then a loud thud resonated throughout the area.

Everyone's head snapped in the direction and without further due the man headed towards the direction of the awaiting Nomu which was wreaking havoc.

The blonde was about to follow him when Todoroki rushed to her, grabbing her hand and running in the opposite direction,

She wrenched her hand out of his grasp but still kept her pace up

"There better be a good reason that we're heading in that direction instead of following-

"Midoriya just sent his location on the group chat with no context. I don't think he'd do that without a reason" Todoroki explained,

Izanami nodded in understanding as the two hurried ahead,

The sight that greeted them upon arrival wasn't the sweetest.

Hero killer:Stain

Fuck.

Iida was on the ground along with another pro, bleeding profusely.

"Chief-"
"Midoriya.Iida,"

Midoriya seemed to be in the middle of attacking or getting attacked.

Either way it didn't matter, because Todoroki drew up an ice wall separating their classmate and the infamous Hero Killer.

Izanami flicked her ring and formed thick chains flinging and wrapping them around Stain and restraining him so that peppermint could freeze him over.

As soon as that was done,she immediately rushed to towards her classmate and the pro beside them before quickly getting them over to their side

It had instantly clicked in Izanami's brain the unsettling feeling she had when she got to know about Iida's brother was this.

She evaluated the situation, this was a secluded narrow pathway, meaning there wasn't much metal in the surrounding

I'll have to rely on making weapons with my blood.
This'll be bad if it gets prolonged.

"Todoroki kun, Izanami san, don't let him touch- cut you" Midoriya croaked out from his place,

The hero killer shattered the ice within seconds after it taking full hold , heading straight to the teen closet- Izanami Ryoko.

She instantly formed a scythe and the onslaught of slashes began.From her left hand she discreetly formed a chain, latching it to the man- binding his legs together. She tugged on it ,causing him to fall and the girl slashed his abdomen,

She tumbled. Fuck.
Am I at my limit already?

She jumped back as peppermint formed another ice barrier, "Princess, switch till I catch my breath"

And so he did.
The gash on Stain's stomach was making him slower and as those two began to fight , the blonde noticed something. She had a cut. On her left thigh.

"Midoriya, what was it about not getting ourselves cut?"

But the boy didn't need to explain as she felt the paralysis take over.

Delayed response?

"It most likely has to do with your blood type," the greenete said, sensing her thoughts.

Izanami's eye widened and she smirked.

"Todoroki kun's using his fire!" Midoriya exclaimed

" Damn,right- he is."

The boy also joined the frenzy, leaving her and their class rep.

And the Pro.

"I'm sorry. My irrational thoughts- I didn't mean for any of you to get roped in this. I-"

"Shut it, chief." the blonde said glancing down at him.

My fingers can move now.

"Don't apologise. We're heroes in training, no shit we'll get hurt and no shit we'll help. But if you feel crappy about it- then hurry your ass up and join in,"

As soon as movement returned, she joined in again.
Alternating attacks.

Midoriya struck off balance.
Izanami restrained him.
Todoroki burned him before freezing the man over.

The three jumped back, breathing in,

But the timing was off. He broke the ice faster this time and instantly threw two of his knives, of which was directly aimed at Todoroki's chest.

Death.

It was quick. Too fast. There wasn't any time to think. The first one just whizzed pass her as she ducked forward before shoving peppermint aside.

The knife struck her right shoulder. Badly.
The blonde barely managed to keep herself from eliciting a scream, shutting her eyes close and hunching over in pain and with a tight grip and wrenching the knife out with her left hand.

His eyes widened at the entire play right now before the boy yelled, along with their two other classmates,

"IZANAMI SAN-"
"IZANAMI KUN-"

"ARE YOU STUPID ?!"

"DID YOU WANT TO DIE INSTEAD ?!" she yelled back, before heaving in a breath

The heterochromatic boy froze the H.K once again and Iida pulled off some power move as the former rushed to her side before quickly ripping his sleeve and wrapping it around her shoulder to the best of his ability.

She was still bleeding though. A lot.

Izanami tried to get into stance again but the paralysis took affect, "fuck."she grunted under her breath

"Don't move."

Midoriya somehow came back to the scene. His body was completely broken and bruised. After Izanami's shoulder gash, he'd be on the don't move list next.

"Midoriya- You're in no position to fight! Stop her bleeding, i'll fight him" Todoroki ordered just as they heard Iida scream in pain

Another to the don't move list.

A knife grazed Todoroki, another aiming for his chest. Again.

He formed an ice wall to shield him this time but it's strength had weakened. It wasn't gonna protect shit. Izanami couldn't move, the paralysis still strong and pain unbearable. Midoriya wouldn't reach on time.

Just when the students thought they were about to witness one of their classmates die in front of them, black electricity zapped.

The knife flew back in the direction of Stain, striking him hard in his chest instead . He toppled over and fell face first.

The pros came after a while.

Okay- so i was reading back the fic and realised basically all of Izanami's "confrontations " get left for a better time and that may seem annoying but it's just they know she'd lie or bolt or some shit like that if not asked at the right time 👩‍🦯👊

Oh as for our boy, this was his last conflict with his fire . Dw no more of it , it's just how tf would he get over all that shit in one day bro😭😭
