I could not stop thinking about her. I could not stop the thoughts that invaded my head. She was gorgeous. My soulmate was beautiful. I could not get her out of my head. The way her eyes shined with a hint of mischief. The way her smile lit up the entire room. The way she looked adorable in that outfit she wore. She was perfect. She was everything I could have ever hoped for. She was my soulmate. I could see color! It was amazing! I could see color and I spent the entire weekend looking at the different colors. I had discovered that I enjoyed watching the different colors in the sky. Did you know there were more colors in the sky than anywhere else? There were the different shades of blue, there were the shades of yellow, there were even the shades of purple and pink when the sun decided to set over the horizon. The sky was beautiful. The sky was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I could still not believe I could see its glory. It was now Monday. The weekend was already done and over with and I was excited. I could run into my soulmate today! This thought excited me more than anything else. I could see my soulmate again today. She must definitely go to my school. There are only two schools in this town. Everyone goes to the only high school after all. I quickly got out of my bed and got ready for the day. I was excited to go to school. That was a first but I was excited to see my soulmate. I had missed her. Is this what happens when you have a soulmate? Do you always become desperate to see them? I quickly got dressed in clothes that I have never been able to see before. I chose to wear a blue shirt today instead of my green one. Seeing color is so cool! I quickly got dressed before leaving my room and making my way down to the kitchen. Boy was I hungry. I smiled when I saw my mother in the kitchen making breakfast. We were having waffles today, my favorite.
"Good morning Mom" I greeted her while walking around her and getting myself a glass of orange juice. I stared at the bright and clear liquid which I discovered was not green like I initially thought and made my way to the small table we have in the corner of the room.
"Good morning my love, are you excited for today?" My mother asked me while she flipped a few waffles on a plate before bringing it over to the table. I smiled politely at her before taking a few waffles for myself. I poured some delicious brown sticky syrup before taking a bite of the delicious waffles.
"I can't really say I am excited since I must go back to school but it's going to be a good week," I kept my answer simple. I did not wish to reveal any other information. I had decided not to tell many people about finding my soulmate. I did not want to jinx myself. I wish to see how this would go with Rose before I tell others. What if things went badly? What if she did not wish for us to be soulmates? What if she did not like me? I did not want to disappoint anyone. I knew my mother would get excited with this news and I do not wish to give her false hope. My mother has always been excited about soulmates ever since she met my father. I do not wish to disappoint her. My mother smiled at me before walking back over to the stove and continuing her cooking. I silently ate my waffles before the storm walked into the room in her purple jumper.
"Good morning family! Remy, does this jumper look cute on me?" Arlington asked me while walking into the room and placing herself on the chair next to me. I looked her over. I could not understand why she wished for my opinion on this but I gave it either way.
"That purple jumper fits you well Arly" I replied without really thinking before I noticed the smirk on her face. Why was she smirking? I raised an eyebrow before all my questions were answered. I heard the drop of the spatula before looking over at my mother who wore this giant smile. I was stunned by this reaction before I realized what I just did. I exposed myself. Shit, I just admitted that I could see color.
"You found your soulmate?! Who are they? Tell me everything" My mother exclaimed while rushing over to the table and smiling brightly at me. I saw the ever-growing smirk on my sister's lips and I glared at her. She planned this! I could not believe that I had fallen into her trap. Why is it always her mission to annoy me? I swear I have the most annoying sister in the entire universe. I sighed while looking at the sparkling eyes of my mother. Her eyes always seem to sparkle when she is excited.
"We ran into each other at the mall. Arly and I were heading up to the second floor to get us some food when suddenly I ran into this other person. Then everything became colorful. I could see the different blues and the different browns. I could see all the shops lit up with these different colors. It was amazing! I looked back down at the person I ran into and this beautiful girl was standing in front of me. She was my soulmate" I explained what had happened the other day with this fond look on my face. Thinking about the moment I met Rose continues to blossom joy in my chest. I had met my soulmate. I could still not believe these words. I looked back at my mother who was grinning widely at me.
"This is amazing Remy! You must invite her to the house. I would love to meet my future daughter-in-law" My mother exclaimed while clapping her hands and I could feel the intense heat rise up to my cheeks. Future daughter-in-law?! Woah I had not thought about that. I am to marry my soulmate one day. A small smile formed on my lips with that thought. I would be marrying Rose one day. Holy shit.

I was walking in the hall of the school while minding my own business. I was bored and I had a free period at the moment. I had nothing to do. I would normally spend my free class with my friends, we would normally spend our time outside in the courtyard but they had all decided to go over to James's home today. James lived a few minutes from the school which had always been convenient but I had decided against going. I did not enjoy being at James's. We would always spend time in his basement and it always smelled like old garbage. I swear he never cleans it out. It's disgusting. I continued to walk down the halls looking over at all the beautiful colors in the school. I had never known that the school had some many colors. The colors were everywhere. I was walking for a few more minutes before suddenly I heard this voice that made me uncomfortable. The voice was sickeningly venomous. Who was that? Who was in the hall? I decided to follow the voice. I was very curious. I followed the voice when I suddenly started to hear another voice whimpering painfully. What was going on? I quickly picked up my pace and that's when I saw it. I could not believe my eyes. Down the hall stood a blonde boy holding up another boy. A brunette who was being pinned against the wall. I watched with wide eyes while the boy with the sickening voice lowered his hand around the other. He held this disgusting smile while the brunette whimpered. What was going on here?
"Now you're going to be a good whore and take all of me, won't you baby. My sweet whore is going to be a good boy for Daddy right?" The disgusting blonde suddenly said and my eyes widened. What?! Did I just hear him correctly? What was he going to do? I need to stop this! I quickly sprung into action. I rushed over to the insane scene in front of me before pulling the blonde away from the brunette. I pushed the blonde to the floor and glared at him. The boy being held up on the wall slowly fell to the ground before he was knocked unconscious. I looked back at the disgusting blonde with a fierce look before he ran away like the little bitch he was. I growled at his exiting form. I can't believe that man. I will be telling the principal about this. I will be telling the police about this. This was not right. I quickly rushed over to the brunette on the floor before picking him up and cradling him closer. What would have happened if I did not hear them? What would have happened to this boy? Does this happen often? I held back the bile in my throat at the thought before I pushed some of the hair out of the boy's eyes and smiled gently at him. This boy did not deserve this. I stared at the boy in my lap before smiling. This boy was really beautiful. I could only imagine what he would look like awake. I quickly picked him up in my arms before making my way to the infirmary. He needed to be looked at that's for sure. I would not be able to live with myself if this boy was hurt by that guy. I swear I will make him pay. I frowned uncomfortably before taking his bag in my hands and leaving the hallway behind. I could not believe all that actually happened.
A few things to talk about this chapter. To start, I will explain the titles, so all the titles that are professional and to the point are Percy's POV. Example: Percival Amonde Dire, The green contacts, etc. The titles that are more vague and more emotional are Remy's Pov. You probably figured that out by now but it's to show their different personalities. Anyways, originally I was going to have Arly play a bigger part, she was going to save Percy but instead I decided that it's better for Remy to save his soulmate from my man Dominick. Remy also finds his soulmate to be beautiful and I am not talking about Rose, the title isn't even talking about Rose. At the beginning of the chapter Remy does say that Rose is beautiful but when the unconscious Percy is in his arms, he calls his true soulmate beautiful. Anyways I hope you all enjoyed and I wonder what happened next.
