"I thought you'd be back last night." Pierre whispers in my ear as I hug him tightly.

"We were both to tired to drive home from Grenoble. So we decided it was better to stay in a hotel." I explain.

"Two rooms right?" Pierre asks protectively, raising his eyebrows as he does so.

"Yes P. Don't worry nothing happened." I tell him, not disclosing the details of our sleeping arrangements.

"Thank god you two are back. I was bored with just him." Esteban says pointing at my brother, resulting in a laugh from Charles and myself.

"Yeah I'm sorry I had to save my career." I say sarcastically, shoving him lightly. "But we're back now!"

The day went by rather quickly, Pierre and I went on a long walk together. The two of us catching up properly with yesterday's events. I explained the details of the conversation I had with my coach, Pierre listening in on every detail of it. Helping me gather my thoughts on the determination I have, the main goal: being in the national squad for the World Cup.

He also questioned me on the dinner I had with Charles. Esteban apparently didn't keep his mouth shut, when he realized in which restaurant Charles and I went. Which resulted in a very curious brother. Pierre made it very clear that he did not like the idea of me dating one of his best friends. He also emphasized that Charles is my ex's brother and that it would turn into one big mess if there were to be future dates and whatever. I explained to Pierre that while I did enjoy the dinner, I wasn't looking for a relationship right now and that was an answer he was satisfied with.

However, Pierre wasn't the only sibling that caught onto what had happened last night. When we returned to the house, Charles was in a heated phone call. Esteban signaling for us to stay quiet while Charles got more agitated on the phone.

"For fucks sake, you've been separated for how long? We went out for dinner, nothing happened. If you care, call her. Or better yet, she just walked in. Here you've got her." Charles yells into the phone, before handing me it. He hurries out the door, slamming it right behind him.

I stare at the phone for a second, gathering my thoughts before lifting it to my ear. "Arthur I guess?" I say into the phone softly.

"Amelie." He mutters, annoyance clear in his voice.

"What would you like to know?" I ask him, knowing he'll have to ask me questions if he wants me to give him any answers. The other side of the line stays quiet. "Arthur, you know if you want to know what happened you can just ask right?"

Arthur sighs deeply before finally finding his words. "Are you dating?"

"No, we are not."

"Are there feelings involved?"

"No, we barely started speaking again."

"That doesn't mean feelings won't ever come." Arthur says softly.

"Arthur, we've been separated for so long. I'm bound to get feelings for someone, sometime. But in all honesty, I don't know if or when that moment will be." I explain calmly, hoping he'll believe the words. Because I am uncertain that I believe them one hundred percent myself.

"Thanks Lie." Arthur says, it feels genuine, before saying goodbye.

I put the phone down on the kitchen table, heading into my room. I need to get all the stress out of my body. I quickly grab some work out clothes and make my way to the gym. As I walk into the basement of the building, I notice all three guys are outside.

Good.

That means no one would've noticed me going down. That would buy me slightly more work out time, before anyone of them decided that I'm outdoing it again.
