I sigh deeply, looking at my packed suitcases, while I put my hair in a high ponytail. This is it, probably my most favourite winter break I have had in a while. And to top that, I feel like I've gathered enough energy to start the second half of the season. I've set my mind straight, got my goals in view and I'm ready to do it all.

I grab the suitcases, walking into the living room area where all three boys are waiting. Seems like I'm the last again. "Am I really that late?" I sigh, rolling the suitcase towards the door.

"Not really, we're just earlier." Pierre says, unlocking the trunk of the car so I can put my suitcase in there. Charles locks the door behind us, throwing the key into the postbox by the door.

This is it.

"Group hug." Esteban smiles before we all fall into each other's arms.

We stand there for a couple of minutes before we all split, Pierre not so subtly dragging Esteban away to give me and Charles some space. "Text me when you get home?" I ask Charles, knowing he'll be home before me.

"I will. Call me when you get home okay?" I just nod, letting my body fall against his for another much desired hug. "It'll be okay." Charles whispers softly placing a kiss on the top of my head.

I lean back a bit creating a bit of distance between us, just so I can rise on my tiptoes and place my lips on his. Our lips finding a rhythm rather quickly, but we're being interrupted by Pierre making a fake gagging noice. "Let's not do this in front of me, okay? I'm fine with whatever this is, but I don't need to see it."

"Grow up." I mutter, giving Charles another hug. "I've walked in on you and Kika too many times, you don't hear me complaining do you?"

We say our goodbyes before getting into our respective modes of transport. I take the passenger seat next to Pierre, just like I did two weeks ago. Two weeks ago I was very much bothered to come here. I hadn't expected to have so much fun. Which means I'm once again sitting in a car very much bothered, but this time because I've had to say goodbye to those who made me smile a bit more again.

I can't help but take my phone out and text Charles real quick. I know he probably won't read it until they do a stop, but that's fine.

Amelie: 'Drive save. I miss you already.'

I then connect my phone to Pierre's car, deciding that it's very much my turn to be dj again. It's comfortable in the car. For the first part of the drive we pretty much jam along to the songs I play. Neither of us really looking to talk or anything. We're just enjoying this moment, probably thinking back of the success this week has been.

"I never expected you two to, you know, end up together." Pierre says softly as we sit down at a small restaurant for lunch.

"Me neither." I chuckle. "Of course we were always on very good terms when I was with Arthur. But after that whole debacle, I just never thought that we would be friends again. Let alone, whatever this is."

"You're taking this slow right?"

"We are." I fumble a bit with the pages of the menu laying right in front of me. "I know that I tend to give my all way too fast. I'm not making that mistake right now. I'm just hoping he can give me the time I need."

"He will." Pierre says a soft smile on my face. "I'll make sure to make him remember that sometimes."

"Thanks P."

I sigh deeply as my alarm rings on Monday morning. I had absolutely loved this break, no alarms, no listening to coaches. I got to choose whatever I wanted to do, and if we're honest I loved it.
