My body felt stiff and momentarily it felt like I couldn't move my tired and heavy muscles. A few seconds later my body finally fought the tiredness and numbness and I pushed the soft quilt engulfing me away.

My mind felt disoriented for a while before my eyes adjusted to look at the cream colored curtains blocking the sunlight.

What time is it?

I glanced down at my watch, my mouth falling open at the time being displayed.

Ten in the morning.

Gripping my hair softly I walked towards the curtains and pulled them apart, the sunlight hitting me right in my retina making me see white spots everywhere.

That's when last evening's events slowly began infiltrating my mind. I had fallen asleep in Clecentine's arms. She definitely carried me here.

I sauntered my way towards the bathroom brushing my teeth with the strong peppermint toothpaste before stripping my clothes off and walking into the warm shower.

The muscles in my shoulders and arms still felt sore and droopy. I must have definitely fallen asleep in a wrong position. After minutes of massaging my sore muscles and cleansing my body I stepped out of the shower wrapped in a soft black towel.

Dressed in a black tank top and army shorts I made my way towards the dining hall expecting to meet Clecentine at the head of the table, elegantly eating her breakfast, occasionally sipping on her coffee.

My forehead wrinkled in confusion when I was met with an empty hall with just one server who looked like he would rather die than stand any longer. But the moment our eyes met he immediately straightened himself, greeting me and asking me to seat myself as he began serving me.

Waffles topped with hot choclate sauce, a fresh bowl of fruit salad and a steaming cup of hazelnut coffee.

In that moment I forgot all about Clecentine's absence as I grabbed my knife and fork, plunging into my breakfast.

The next few hours were spent in a blur, flying away in a flash.

I had spent my time strolling in the garden, scrolling through my phone and the rest of my time dancing away like a dead cockroach trying to escape from the sprinklers which had turned on abruptly.
