The sun and the clouds surrounding it looked like the perfect mix of yellow, orange and red. I still had half an hour before meeting Rose.

I walked away from the balcony before sitting down on the couch. I was in a luxurious suite at the Le Grande Hotel. This stay wasn't planned. I was supposed to leave for New York after meeting Silas. But now that I have a second chance with Rose I'd move mountains just to be with her.

When I looked at my reflection in the mirror I was met with my usual looks. A suit, hair tied back and stilettos. I was tired of it. Stilletos made my feet hurt at times, suits would feel hot sometimes and I was someone who liked letting her hair down. But everything was just a sort of facade to look more confident. A good sense of fashion and intelligence among women would be the end of men.

But today I just wanted to look like a normal person. I didn't want to be the American Mafia Boss or a woman people feared. No. I just wanted to be Clecentine.

So I walked up to the mirror, examined my reflection and then did something I never thought I ever would.

I walked out of my apartment after busying Dad with a show on Netflix. A few minutes later I found myself in front of the Eiffel Tower with no sign of Clecentine. I glanced at my watch. There were still four minutes left till the clock struck six.

Deciding to spend some time thinking about my life I sat down on the grass, instantly relaxing when the fragrance of the flowers surrounding me began wafting around me.

Was Clecentine going to tell me how she felt about me? If so what will I do?

My eyes fell on the rose necklace she gave me months ago as I held and admired it in my fingers. Screw it. I'll tell her how I feel. I'll tell her I love her. The worst that could happen is that she'll reject me, and no matter how heartbreaking it will be at least I'll know that I tried.

I looked around, trying to find any sign of Clecentine when the clock struck six. Barely a few moments later I heard the sound of feet skimming through the grass behind me.

Sensing a familiar fragrance I looked up, my heart beating wildly in my chest until my eyes fell on the woman in front of me.

I stuttered, coherent words unable to leave my mouth. Clecentine was standing right in front of me with a smile on her face. But instead of her usual, rich and classy suit and stilettos, she wore an oversized black hoodie, grey sweatpants and white sneakers. Her hair was not tied back and was flowing freely in the breeze.
