The wind was blowing much harsher as Diluc made his way to Windrise. His legs were still a bit weak, but he had to do this, he had no other choice but to carry on. When he finally made it to the statue, he just looked up at it. "After everything, Barbatos, you still do not choose to help your region in need. What a drunkard you are." He whispered to himself, knowing that when Jean came here, she did the opposite, and praised her Archon.

When Diluc turned around, he expected to see no one, or just the Abyss Order, but he stumbled into.. Dottore! Diluc quickly pulled out his delusion, not having time to grab his claymore that was laying on the ground. "Relax, youngling, i don't want to spar yet." He spoke, which sent shivers down Diluc's spine. "Leave this place, you're not welcome here!" He yelled at him, but the Doctor only laughed in response. "You came to my nation unwelcomed too, yet you just went right in.. wouldn't it be fair for me to do the same?" Diluc had enough, and just ran at him, but it seemed like after the fighting, he had grown rusty, and fell right to the ground. Dottore seemed to be using a delusion as well, so they didn't match each others strength the way Diluc hoped. One delusion could be stronger or weaker, yet he didn't know which. Dottore got on his knees, and tied Diluc's hands on his back, while Diluc desperately tried to get out of his grip. "A shame that your father passed away all those years ago, I would love to see his expression to what you're about to experience." Dottore whispered, and it sparked something in Diluc. Hatred, anger.

"You won't get away with this!!" He shouted at him, and yet again Dottore only laughed. "Oh? Why no-" He didn't finish his sentence, and Diluc could immediately tell what had happened. The feeling and smell of cryo. At las, his hands were untied, and he quickly got up to see the grinning smile that belonged to none other than Kaeya. He then turned to face Dottore, and looked disgusted. "I think you meant our father. If you think that you can get away with doing whatever you please in Mondtsadt, then you might as well head back, immediately!" Kaeya seemed outraged from Dottore's presence, and it was something Diluc hadn't seen.. ever. Dottore wasn't the type to give up, yet he seemed to go with what Kaeya said, and fled the area. None of them were sure if he was fleeing the nation, but they hoped. "Thank you Kaeya.." Diluc said, smiling a bit at him. "Anytime, I decided to make sure you were alright, seemed like I came at the right time. By the way, Jean is awake, do you want to go see her?" Kaeya asked, and Diluc immediately complied.

When Kaeya and Diluc finally returned back, Diluc was bleeding a bit off of his chin, just a scar he got from being thrown onto the ground, but other than that he was in a good condition. They entered Jean's office, where Lisa was helping with Jean's wounds, putting some ice on the bloody parts. "We're back." Kaeya said, and Lisa waved at them. Diluc didn't exactly know what to say, as he was still feeling guilty from the incident. "Hey Jean, how are you feeling?" He asked, as he walked over to her. "I'm fine.. it was a small injury.. so I should be up and running in no time." Jean forced a smile, but it was clear she was in pain, constantly. "Just get the rest you need, you don't need to fight whatever we have up ahead, you're clearly not in the right condition." Diluc demanded, and it seemed like not even Jean could protest against him. "Okay.. thank you for carrying me here, without you I'd be dead meat.." Jean smiled at him, as she watched him sit down on the floor in front of her. "I'll do anything to keep you safe, always."
