Ah yes, the fatui diplomats, the only God they believe in is the Tsaritsa, the one and only ruler of the whole of Snezhnaya, quite crazy, right? Diluc didn't believe in her beliefs, and neither did he think it was right to take the gnosis from the God's of other nations. Either way, he couldn't think about that now, as he should focus on the fatui gunner who was aiming his gun right at him. Diluc quickly pulled out his claymore, and charged right at him, slashing him with the pyro infected claymore that he wielded and mastered so well. He could see in the corner of his eye that Jean had gotten a lot better at combat, and that she was already killing the anemo shielder. Seemed like the two of them were as weak as old branches from a three hundred year old tree. After they were done, Diluc turned to face Jean, as they both panted.

"As I was saying, why are you here? You know it's super dangerous, and it won't clear your mind at all. We have to get back to Mondstadt." Diluc couldn't explain it, Jean didn't know what happened. "We have to go, now? Are you sure? Diluc, what aren't you telling me?" It seemed like they both had completely forgotten about their countless arguments and their break up. At last, Diluc sighed, and looked at her. "When my father died, me and Kaeya got into a fight, I can't say the reason, but that's how he got his vision. After that, I headed to the Knights to see what we would do next, and they decided to cover up my father's death, which is why I left the knights. When we sent letters together, I was already planning on going to Snezhnaya, and when i didn't respond, I was running from the Diplomats, gunners, and even some of the Harbingers. I was so close to death, that some people had to save me, and ever since then, I've been banned from here, that's why we can't stay for long." He finally finished, and Jean seemed even more shocked. That was the reason?

"Diluc, I'm so sorry that happened.. if I had known better, and if everyone knew, we wouldn't have judged how you look at the knights.." "There's nothing you can do about it. Kaeya and Varka know, so why do the others need to know it too?" Diluc said, and it seemed like Jean couldn't argue against that. "I'm just, sorry, I didn't know, and I hope you're doing better. I'm truly sorry for breaking up with you, and it was wrong of me. I understand if you hate me." It went quiet, and they could only hear the wind howling. "If I hated you I wouldn't be standing in a land im banned from." Diluc seemed to be smiling, and he found it quite funny that she thought he hated her when he went this far for it. "So you don't?" She asked, and he only answered with leaning closer, and whispering. "I would never." Was the last words he spoke before he gently pressed his lips against hers, wrapping his arms around her waist. Her lips felt soft, and they were exactly the same as he remembered them. He could feel her arms wrapping around his neck, as they took the kiss into a deeper make out session. He was so lost in the moment that he didn't even think about getting out of the nation, before Jean pulled away and reminded him. "Well, we can continue this when we get back in Mondstadt. Let's go." She said, smiling at him as she took his hand, and they wandered to Diluc's horse. They both got ontop of it, as they slowly started to make their way out of the small camp. After riding for a couple of minutes, Diluc noticed a couple of hilichurls, and some fatui with them? Strange, but he told Jean to stay on the horse and wait for him, as he was only going to clear them all out.
