Now, they had finally bought their necessities, and were finally ready for the ball that was approaching. Diluc wasn't worried, as the Fatui even stated that anyone and everyone was invited, so he expected to see a bunch of Harbingers there too, perhaps even the Captain, and the Doctor. He was so lost in his thoughts, that when Jean came out after she was ready putting on her dress, make up, and did her hair, he didn't hear her. "Diluc, I asked you, how does this look?" Jean mumbled, and when Diluc finally saw her, he couldn't believe the beauty that was before him. A long, blue and white dress, fit for a Princess fit her so well. Her hair was in a ponytail this time as well, with a blue bow. Her makeup was done so well the first thought he had was that he wanted to mess it up, badly. "You look beautiful, Claire." Diluc teased, smirking at her flustered face. "You do not have to call me that yet! You can still call me Jean!" She huffed, but he only stood up and approached her. "Why? Claire is a beautiful name, and yours is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but I adore to see the flustered look on your face." Diluc grinned, but he was met with a huff, a grunt, and a back facing him. "Go get dressed, you dork." She mumbled, and he happily applied.

Diluc just had a formal suit, black and white, to match his hair. He didn't do much, since it wasn't necessary. When they were both finally done, they grabbed their masks, and began to walk to where the ball was being held. Their masks matched their outfits, and it was near impossible to see that it was them. They had come up with a story on how they met, how they started dating, who proposed, and details about the wedding to make it sound as real as possible. Even after all of that, Diluc couldn't get her off his mind, and what happened the day before. He wanted to continue it, but he held back from it, and just snapped out of it.

When they finally arrived, there were a couple of people at the ball. The main goal wasn't to kill Dottore right then and there, but to see how he was doing, and what state he was in. Just in case, they both had a pocket knife that they kept just in case things went wrong. They also knew where the weapon room was, so that wasn't an issue either. Diluc hadn't spotted the harbingers yet and figured they were still getting ready. "Let's go start up conversations with people, to seem less suspicious." Diluc whispered, as he began to approach two couples who seemed to have a conversation. They seemed nice, and introduced themselves, and so did Diluc and Jean. Finally, after talking for a bit, they noticed the harbingers. Perfect.

Diluc didn't have a direct plan, but he knew this place would be a bloody mess once he and Jean were done. Diluc and Jean decided to approach one of the Harbingers that seemed to be having a conversation with Dottore. He prayed Dottore wouldn't notice the two in what their real identity was. "You two look amazing." Jean started the conversation, as she put on a small smile. Dottore turned to them and gave a snarky smile in return. "You guys as well, you don't seem Snezhnayan, have I seen you two before?" He became slightly suspicious, but Diluc soon cut in. "No, sir, we just admire your work. I'm Vincent Johanson, and this is my wife, Claire Johanson." They both introduced themselves, and Dottore seemed to slightly calm down. "Pleasure, it's nice that some people here have common sense." He muttered, grabbing a drink. Diluc and Jean looked at each other, knowing that they both didn't want to talk to this guy any longer, he was a disgusting human being. "Where are you two from?" Dottore asked, and Diluc started to panic. "Mondstadt, good sir." Jean interrupted, and that seemed to get the Doctor to grow even more suspicious. Great. "Mondstadt, huh? Didn't know they had many blondes and redheads there other than two disgusting people I know." Dottore rolled his eyes. "What people, sir? We don't really believe in the people of Mondstadt. We are disappointed of our nation." Diluc saved himself. "You guys have to keep these things a secret okay?" They both nodded. "Diluc Ragvindr and Jean Gunnhildr. Two people in Mondstadt that promise to protect their people, yet one of them is banned from this nation, claimed he was too unbothered that he went on a murder spree here, and the other messed up our plan, and didn't let the fatui get their plans because she's the "grand master." It's outrageous! Isn't it?" Diluc's fists curled into a ball, but he couldn't show his anger to this cruel freak. Diluc looked over at Jean once again, and it seemed like they both had enough. They couldn't really attack anyone right now, so Jean offered to stay and talk to Dottore while Diluc went to the "restroom." Instead, Diluc was heading to the weapon room.

When he made it to the room, it seemed like it was locked, but he easily lock picked it open, and got past the guards, before he saw the gem of weapons. Claymores, swords, bows, everything. Diluc took a claymore of his choice, and a sword he knew Jean would adore. He also made sure to bring some backup weapons, so they wouldn't run from here empty handed. He then scattered through the halls, and looked for some evidence that he could investigate. He found a few files, and took them with him. When he returned, it seemed like Dottore had finally found out that he was talking to none other than Jean Gunnhildr herself. "Jean, catch!" Diluc shouted, as he threw the sword. Right before she caught it, she threw off her mask, and began to fight Dottore. Diluc soon jumped down onto the ball floor and took his mask off too, fighting off Fatui guards and even some of the Harbingers, this wasn't his first time though.

After fighting for quite a long time, Jean and Diluc had switched places. "You're not welcome in our beautiful nation, Ragvindr." Dottore growled, fighting against his strong claymore. "You almost killed me like you killed my father, you monster." Diluc huffed at him, but they hadn't planned this well enough, and Jean was starting to struggle. "Diluc, we have to get out of here!" She shouted, and this time, Diluc wasn't stubborn, and took one last hit at Dottore, which sent him onto the floor, before he ran up to Jean, and fled the scene.
